I got too much going on, my mind isn’t working right. I’m so, so sorry! I was sure I had made the deadline. Geez. *rolls eyes at self*
At least we can use it for the next one, so that’s a plus! I’ll go back & add the letters it can be used for.
Laura wrote: "Start/end time for the rounds is always 2:00 pm, Pacific time"Thank you so much - I can remember that time a lot easier (plus set an alarm for this on my calendar each round!)
I’ve had times where I’ve stared at a countdown trying to figure out if I had missed it or not, because I couldn’t figure out if it was counting up or down! :)
Great job on round 2, everyone!! Who is ready for round 3?? Get those books on the planning sheet and let’s do this.
I remember reading somewhere a while ago that it's okay to use The Sun Down Motel for the task "Set in a Hotel" -- yes? Motel/Hotel/Inn are being treated as equivalent here?

Robyn, we used Gypsy King in round 2, with a read date of 7/9.
I knew I posted the wrong book cover somewhere lol its supposed to be this one with the same tasks I listed
everything else is the same. I just posted the wrong book cover lol

I put it down for 118, multiple points of view. You've already used the title in title with Gypsy King. :)

Letters it works for would help in your completion posts. I can easily get title/series/author, but I don't know the characters! :)
I put it down for the two timelines. I'm not sure it works for text only, because it does have the brick wall on there.

Alysa wrote: "@Emeli ... I just happened to notice, it looks like your current book doesn't meet the 160 minimum page count for Wheel..."I'll send her a message in case she doesn't see your post. Thanks for catching that before she finishes. :)
Robyn wrote: "I so want to DNF this book I am reading right now. It is awfully painful to read. UGH!"I hate trying to decide if I want to find a new book for a task, or just push through the one I'm part way through when I want to DNF.
Which book?
I guess I will push through it even though I am getting more and more aggravated, but I'm more than halfway through so I may as well finish it.
I usually love Jodi Picoult but this book has me wanting to throw it across the room, but that would mean I would probably break my kindle lol
Robyn wrote: "this book has me wanting to throw it across the room, but that would mean I would probably break my kindle lol..."I've felt that feeling more than once! :)

Grr! It is terrible.
Geri wrote: "We are doing great with all those Qs and Us! We make a good team. 😁"I agree! I haven’t been around much the last couple weeks, but y’all are KILLIN’ IT! I went to see if we needed a Q & discovered most were covered already. Y’all are awesome. :p
Sorry to hear you’re not enjoying your book, Robyn. I very rarely DNF books, but there are always those few that I just CANNOT finish. & I dunno why, but even then, I feel terrible for it. LOL.
My book works for U, A, E, or B - but since I had a space saved for me for the E already, I’ll use it for that. But feel free to move it wherever it fits best, of course. :p

I managed to get through this one though and finish it last night. The second half wasn't as terrible. I mean the writing is great just lots of in your face stereotypes.
Robyn wrote: "I managed to get through this one though and finish it last night."Glad you were able to finish! I have to admit when I’m NOT in a team challenge, I will dnf a book more often if I am struggling. I just finished one yesterday I would have stopped reading if I could. But I’m in full challenge mode right now and I am just powerIng through!

I powered through as well as I was going to use this book for this challenge as well as another one. The second half I guess got better, but the first geez what a struggle.
