Historical/ Medieval Romance, The hero accompanied by troops holds the heroine captive in her house and tortured her to give up her brother’s location. (2012?-2018)

The hero and heroine were neighbours who were in love and had planned to run away to get married. However the families are against it since they are of opposite faiths (I think protestant vs catholic) so the brother of the heroine hold the hero hostage and release him only after the heroine is married.

Years later the heroine is a widow and is back at home with her brother. The hero is a warrior who is accompanied by troops holds the entire household captive and urges the heroine to give up her brother. He tortures the heroine for information about her brother but instead she reveals that she was pregnant with his child and was drugged during her wedding and that she waited for him.

The heroine is fearless and takes care of the household. I think she keeps bees.
