L.J. Hayward | 34 comments Under the Stats tab on my books, in the 'breakdown' list, the numbers of ratings and reviews don't match those listed on the book page. EG on Demon Dei the book page says 4 reviews, but in the breakdown, it has 7.

Is there a reason for the discrepancy?

Cheers!

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments I'm not sure which stats page you mean, if it's something on the author dashboard then the only person who can see that is you.

I see 7 ratings on that book, with four reviews (one of which doesn't have a rating) and three star ratings without reviews, which matches what the stats breakdown on the book page says too.

In any case, reviews are cached, and can take a day or two to show up in all places you can see them.

L.J. Hayward | 34 comments The page I'm talking about is this one...

https://www.goodreads.com/book/stats/...

...and can be seen by others. In the reviews column, it has 7 points.

Just wondering if it record reviews/ratings that may have been deleted.

Mike Briggs (mikebriggs) | 188 comments That's a neat little chart. Can see when a specific book is popular. I do not think, though, that it is a page that is normally . . . hmm . . . seen by non-authors.

I think that this is a question that needs to be asked in the author feedback group. I do not believe that it is one that can be answered by a GoodReads Librarian.
