Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I am currently reading Murder List by Julie Garwood. I am enjoying this series. I have enjoyed the beginning of this one. it has intrigued me from the get go even though not much has happened up to chapter 9 thus far. Whisper of evil will be next on my list along with the last victim. audio book is downloaded and ready to go.

I'm finishing Fatal Consequences (Fatal, #3) by Marie Force - just love it! and I'm starting the last WT book (until the next one releases) - Unseen (Will Trent, #7) by Karin Slaughter (including the novella Busted)

I finished Deadly Messengers by Susan May and liked it quite a bit. The author is exceptionally skilled in writing the tense scenes. Here's my review.

I also finished When the Tiger Kills by Vanessa Prelatte, Cimarron and Melbourne #1. It was unexpectedly very good with well written procedurals (ignore the cover and strange title). Here's my review.

I'm now reading Anything for You by Kristan Higgins, Blue Heron #5.

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments So as I am reading Murder List (Buchanan-Renard #4) by Julie Garwood and I have been enjoying it, it is kind of irritating that the Main Character Alec Buchanan is hardly even mentioned until chapter 16.

I finished Anything for You by Kristan Higgins, Blue Heron #5, and absolutely loved it. Not an easy story, though. Here's my review.

I also finished listening to The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith, Cormoran Strike #2, and hated for it to end. Here's my review.

I'm now reading Welcome to Forever by Annie Rains, Hero's Welcome #1, and listening to Fallen by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent #4 (already hooked).

I finished Unseen (Will Trent, #7) by Karin Slaughter which catches me up in the series. This book & series just blew me away. Unseen is an amazing book - maybe the best of the series although every single one of these books are awesome. It's one series that I'm sad about being caught up in because now I have to wait for the next book - sometime next July. :(

My Review

Sheri Morell (smorell22) | 2165 comments I have finished and enjoyed The Last Victim. I did enjoy this a lot and really like Charlie but have to say that there are some aspects of this book that were a little odd to say the least. I will however continue the series.

Courtney (sekay88) Rejoining the discussion after a month or so out. Back into some of the great urban fantasy series and a couple of new ones (for me at least). Recently finished:

Magic Shifts, by Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels #8). Great as always, and definitely setting us up for the final two books in the series (at least I'm fairly certain that that is what the authors wrote somewhere, saying they want to give Kate & Curran their HEA).

Dark Heir, by Faith Hunter (Jane Yellowrock #9). Jane just gets better and better, pretty much ranking right behind Kate Daniels in the kick-a$$ category. Terrific, complex story that keeps the blood pumping.

Boundary Crossed, by Melissa F. Olson (Boundary Magic #1). Great find in a new series. Exciting new character in boundary witch Lex. Looks like an excellent supporting cast.

Spider's Bite, by Jennifer Estep (Elemental Assassin #1). I had seen many people add Gin Blanco to the various kick-a$$ heroine lists, so decided to give the series a try. SOLD after book one. Will definitely continue.

The Good, the Bad, and the Undead,by Kim Harrison (The Hollows #2). Gave up on this one half way through a few months ago, but the series is so popular, decided to pick it back up. Glad I did. Second half of book was outstanding. Will definitely continue with Rachel Morgan's story.

Hi Paula, I will let you know once I'm done. But so far I find the hero too arrogant with a short fuse. I have no connection to the heroine, in fact, I feel like I barely know her. Lack of emotional connection for me with the story of the book is what's causing me to struggle to finish. I hate dnf'ing a book so going to try and finish.
