Just finished reading/listening to Fall of Giants
by Ken Folletthttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Just finished the third book in the "Chicago Stories" series. Really like this main character, reminds me just a bit of Eve Dallas, in fact, a good bit of the "kick ass and take no prisoners" lifestyle, though she is an architect rather than a police officer. While each book of the series is a story complete in itself, I recommend you start with the first, West of Western as the author does a wonderful job of introducing the main characters of the series.
Finished Devoted in Death yesterday. NEVER a disappointment. Eve at her very best.Reading Laura Griffin's new Shadow Fall.
I just finished reading The Cat Who Knew Shakespeare
by Lilian Jackson Braunhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Always enjoy Karen Rose & this was no exception. I'm going to try to write a review. This was a sick bunch of creeps (villains) & the fact that they started so young - just really sick. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on. And obviously, she set things up for the next book (view spoiler)

They were disgusting. The next book is just as shocking.

Yes but it steps back and runs parallel to the above story from Luke and Susannah's point of view for a time.
Just finished listening to The Turn of the Screw, with eBook
by Henry Jameshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm getting behind again in posting and writing reviews. Been a bit busy.
I finished Flirting with Fate by Jerrie Alexander, Noble Pass Affaire series, and enjoyed this short story. It's part of a collaboration by five authors who have written short stories set in Noble Pass, Colorado. There's no other connection.
I also finished reading In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath, Scoundrels of St. James #1, and really liked it and the premise for the series. This is my first historical by the author set outside of America. I'm tempted to go binge on the series.
I'm now reading Destroyed by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott, Lost in Oblivion #3.

So I am reading
and I have to say that right now I am just not sure about it yet. With the Southern Comfort Series I was pulled in right away. I was hoping it would be the same way with this one. Of course it is still early and that can change. I hope it changes.
Just finished reading/listening to The Woman in White
by Wilkie Collinshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished listening to The Martian by Andy Weir and enjoyed it very much, especially the narration. Can't wait to see the movie and here's my review.
I'm now listening to Split Second by David Baldacci, King & Maxwell #1.

Finished reading the unauthorized series by Lisa Ladew and re reading her edge of heat series and awaiting book seven
I just started reading Best Staged Plans by Claire Cook. So far it has been very good--it's laugh-out-loud funny in places.
I finished reading Destroyed by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott, Lost in Oblivion #3, and loved it, though I took off half a star for it ending in a cliffhanger. Here's my review.
Of course, I'm now reading the next book, Consumed.

I just finished the first three books in Catherine Coulter's new series "A Brit in the FBI" (she co-authors them with J T Ellison) 1. The Final Cut, 2. The Lost Key, and 3. The End Game.. They're great fun and a good read/listen to.

I LOVE it! Fortunately, I was given both books at the same time. They've never done this cliffhanger thing before and hope they won't do this again. Even so, it's pretty wonderful:)

Where are you in the series because answering that question may be spoilerish for you.

Just finished reading my interlibrary loan, Shame by Salman Rushdie. (One of the 1000 Books You Should Read Before You Die challenge.)https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished reading Consumed by Taryn Elliott, Lost in Oblivion #3.5. This was supposed to be the final story for Simon Kagan the band's lead singer but it wasn't 100% resolved by the end of the book. Loved the story but a little disappointed with the ending.
I'm now reading Wonderment in Death by J.D. Robb, In Death #41.5. It's actually the first story in an anthology as it hasn't been released separately yet, except in audiobook format.

I've started Will Trent book 5,
. Once again, Slaughter has my heart racing in the first chapter! She is insanely talented!

I almost can't stop reading now. I think I'll go straight into the novella, Snatched next. Then I only have a couple to go, I think. The series just gets better & better now that GC & WT have merged.
I finished reading Wonderment in Death by J.D. Robb, In Death #41.5, and enjoyed it. Too short as usual but good. Here's my review.
I'm now reading In the Dark by Marliss Melton, SEAL Team 12 #2.

Nice review Jonetta. I'm looking forward to reading it. I really enjoy the novellas. They are just a little different with a twist and I'm glad she writes them.
Thanks, Penni! I grumble about them but have really liked the more recent ones. Maybe they've grown on me:)
Trying to catch up on reviews!
The Seduction of Lord Stone by Anna Campbell, Dashing Widows #1. Here's my review.
Notorious Pleasures by Elizabeth Hoyt, Maiden Lane #2. Here's my review.

I have been reading
and I am loving it...I have waited two years for the new Eve Duncan book to come out and I have to say it was worth the wait. I have missed this series and there will be two more coming out next year.

Betrayal was emotionally tough with a rough ending. You're wise to read something less murderous now:)

Just finished Shadow Play and I have to say the ending left me speechless and it is going to be hard having to wait so long for the next book
to come out in April.
Finished listening to Split Second by David Baldacci, King & Maxwell #1, and really enjoyed both the story and narration. Here's my review.
I'm now listening to Undone by Karin Slaughter, Will Trent #3.
