I really liked this story even though many were critical of Payne and Manny not getting enough page time. I LOVED V and Jane's extra time as it was needed and was satisfied with Payne and Manny's romance.

Finished it...loved it! I won't question what others think as we're all different, but I didn't find anything to NOT like about this book. Loved getting more of V. & Jane and V. & Butch...it was needed. And I thought Payne & Manny's story was just right...brilliant as always.

I love this series. And Ilona Andrews in general. I really enjoyed their Edge series and sad when it ended.

As soon as I close out a couple of long running series, I'm going to start some of their newer stuff. I've heard it's awesome as well.

Just finished reading he can fall by Melinda Leigh. that was one of the Novella's I have read in a long time. I am really hoping she comes out with a new book in the series soon. I have really enjoyed it. now to focus on Let me go by Chelsea Cain. also been listening to Triptych.

They've become mine. I think this book may become my favorite so far in this series. I'm about 70% into it and I'm having a hard time putting it down.

I'm now reading This Heart of Mine by Brenda Novak, Whiskey Creek #8, and am already grabbing for the tissues.

Ok looks like Kick Back release date has been changed, now it is showing January 2016. Last time I looked it showed September. :(

I just finished reading Let Me Go and all I can say is WOW.....Sandra you were so right. It is killing me that there are no new books right now. Archie and Susan just can't catch a break but I liked the ending :) Now listening to Promises in Death. I absolutely love this one.

Yes she is, and it is going to be hard waiting for the next book. I knew there was something up with Rachel almost from the beginning. It didn't surprise me all that much.

Me either. And I really liked the ending...wasn't sure it would be a good one. I was actually afraid it might be a big cliff-hanger - really glad it wasn't. But, of course, it's not over yet!

I loved the ending as well, i kept thinking "its about time" LOL. I probably would have cried if it had ended on a cliff-hanger since we don't even know how long it will be before the next book will be released.
