I am reading A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2) by Sarah J. Maas . I am really enjoying this trilogy. I went out and bought A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3) by Sarah J. Maas today, so that when I finish Mist and Fury I won't be going insane waiting to read the next one. Are Sarah Maas's other books just as good as these?

Lauren (laurenjberman) Caught up on reviews...

I read Collecting Evidence (Kenner County Crime Unit, #5) by Rita Herron which is one of the better installments in this series - My GR Review

Also finished listening to Widow’s Web (Elemental Assassin, #7) by Jennifer Estep and it wasn't as bad or as angsty as I expected - My GR Review

And also The Outlaw Demon Wails (The Hollows, #6) by Kim Harrison . I agree with many reviewers that this is a turning point in the series - My GR Review

I've got the audio on pre-order and can't wait to listen to it. I did a re-read of the first one a bit ago to get ready for this one.

message 958: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments I preordered both the kindle & the pb, just lucky that they released the pb early.

I've read the 1st one a couple of times but now that I've finished #2, I'll do a re-read of both, straight through, probably next week.

Loved White Hot (Hidden Legacy, #2) by Ilona Andrews and am so glad #3 is due in 2 mths, but sad that it is supposed to be the last one :(

I just finished this one and I thought it was ok. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it either. I found it was easy to put down and do some chores around the house. Usually when I really like a book I will read it through. I probably stopped 5 or 6 times today. But with that being said, if she writes another one I'll check it out. It's a good filler book, one to read when you are waiting for those you really want to read.

message 962: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments I gave it 4 stars, definitely not a 5 star book, but I was intrigued with the world-building. Want to know more about the family situation too :)

And its got wolves :D

EchoBaz(Unofficial World's Fastest Reader) | 7 comments I was reading Discount Armageddon earlier last month. It was a great urban fantasy comedy where the main character...well she combines combat and ballroom dancing. The fight at the end was so damn funny!

I read about 53% of Stormlord Rising It's a middle eastern fantasy novel. I shouldn't have wasted my time.

Right now I'm reading Every Dead Thing About 21% through and about 98 pages in. NOW THIS is what I'm talking about! It's about this ex cop whose wife and kid were killed. When someone else is killed in a similar fashion, Charile Parker seeks them out. Plus, his families ghosts are hanging around.

Sandra | 4736 comments Finished Wildfire (Hidden Legacy, #3) by Ilona Andrews which I got early from Book Depository ... YAY!! ... and loved it.

They've left enough open for more books which is excellent, as they've said if they don't get commissioned to write more Hidden Legacy, they'll write at least 1 more & self publish :)
