What are you reading?

Was that the one with Basil? Everyone loved that book I was like meh its ok totally felt like the odd man out.

Nope. The plotting and writing are deteriorating from book to book. I'm just not interested.

I think her story gets flushed out almost at the end.
IMO it was a weird one and at times it did not make sense.

Agreed on the confusing part, and while I think Ms. Sands was trying to reach out and demonstrate a grim reality things were just to easily resolved I think. Lucian quite is quite funny in my opinion.

I really did not care for this one. I felt like Vlad was a different character I mean I could barely understand what Leila saw in him. And Leila seemed a bit more Mary Sue than I recall and finally while I appreciate the Cherokee concept it just did not work for me.
This one was a total miss. I think perhaps it is time for me to break up with the whole world and just have fond memories

LOL then there is that point lol
But yes I was thinking I won't check out Ians book unless people say it is amazing.

I started
there's no way I can get through the rest of the series before the new one comes out. Oh well, I guess it's better to be so far behind than all out of books to read, right? I am really liking this one.

That was a good one! And don't feel bad I am like six books behind in that series

Wow book six already!
Is Annie the youngest one? Personally, Verity was always my favorite. My library has been so slow in getting the Chaos book.

The books are better than the TV show - and a lot different. You just have to look at them as two separate things.
This July Charlaine Harris' Midnight, Texas series is going to be on the timeslot that Grimm was. That it also another great series with some of the characters fromm Sookie Stackhouse crossing over into it.

I didn't know Charlene Harris had another series good to know! I ferl like I'm so behind on the genre which i am everyone has already read all the series im just starting lol.

I agree. The books are very different. In fact, any similarity is very superficial (mainly only the character names). I only watched season 1 of the show and called it quits. Not my cup of tea. The books are much better.

I do think the books get a bit tedious at around book 11 - they stopped having the sexual tension of the previous books and I felt like the author stopped caring about the story.

I find her self-published work much better than the mainstream published works. No idea why her publishers want the same old, same old.

I didn't realize that it was a self-pub one. I've found her stuff since the Riley Jensen series hit or miss for me.

That one ended up in my dnf pile.

Did you read the last one? There was a little movement on that front. Makes me really look forward to their book now.
