But I also have heard alot of good things about the Dark Lover and that series that's why it's so hard for me to decide. haha.

Ooo.... I did enjoy the Brotherhood, while I do enjoy Cat and Bones I though One Grave at a Time was just ok. But then again you are in between books so do you want to start a new series?
Somehow I do not think I am all that helpful lol.

Overall, I enjoyed it but felt it was too long and repetitive in some places with Paris and Sienna's angst. I do like how the overall story arc developed though.
I'll continue with Kane's book even though the reviews have been ho-hum. I'm on the fence now about beginning the spin-off series though. Has anyone read it?

Lol!
It's weird because I do enjoy Showalter's writing style (at least before she became more religious). I actually read and enjoyed her Alien Huntress series during the 5 year break.

@Lauren I forgot about Alien Huntress maybe my library will have them! I also agree I think there are a lot of ways to write romance but it feels like she wanted to keep the same formula which to me did not work. Shame because she was an auto buy author for me for a long time.

I found myself really bored when reading this one.

Sorry to hear it.

Sorry I am not familiar with the book

I hate it when that happens. What about trying an old favorite? That usually will help me.

Yeah. I felt like there was a lot of set up at first but then, for me, it really hit its stride.

Yeah. I felt like there was a lot of set up at first but..."
It is starting to do that now - cannot believe this is the last book.

Me too!
I got a bunch of library books half of which I disliked. So I am still watching MidSummer Murders which is quite enjoyable! and HGTV...I did manage to finish Clean Sweep
I think I am going to try non-fiction.

plus a bunch of books in my "want to read"!!!

I have piles of books, boxes of books, thousands on all of my Kindles - it is a sickness (but a good one).

Yes it is :)

I really like this series.
The library decided my next book for me. I just picked up Burn Baby Burn I feel like I'm cheating on Gin since last night I finished Elemental Assassin #4, and today I'm not reading #5.

Love Victoria's books and al of her different series.

My GR Review"
I think I remember that one. The author writes with a lot of imagery but it has a really slow pace I think. Still it was a good book.

Yes, it had some slow parts but I listened on audio and Justine Eyre's narration was so good, I didn't really notice that much.

Love Mercy!

I was actually a bit sad that the stick died. :(

I read the first Elemental assassin and liked it but forgot about that series until recently i need to read the second one for sure.

OOh, Dawn, a dark Argeneau book. I'll look forward to that, I'm only on about #10 or #11 I think.

Oh that was a good one! I am not sure how I fell off of that series.
As for Argeneau it was interesting to see the dark side of the no fangers. I bet she got a lot of slack for it
