Match One: Montrose Magpies v Team Who Must Not Be Named. Start 5 Jun @5pm PST

Maddy has valiantly soldiered through A Pie to Die for, grabbing pies and throwing them at the opponents, saving Jenny.

Alysa is back, so reserve Maddy can go out for some butterbeer.
For real this time!

Chris's determination has paid off and the bludger goes speeding towards Donna. This time there will be no mistake
Chris has finished reading Instinct: A Prehistoric Romance by Allison Blackwood
Superb timing from the Magpies, just as Maddy fished Jenny's head from out of the toilet seat, Chris puts the Chaser team into disarray, unseating Donna!
Knuckle biting stuff!

Wonder how the keeper is doing, will she be in position to foil the Nameless one's next goal attempt??

Go on Nicole & Anna! We want to see that quaffle slammed through the Nameless hoops for a Magpie score!

Jessi swoops in to finish Instinct: A Prehistoric Romance, and gets Donna back on her broom!

Keeper Nikk was so focused on protecting her goal posts that she only just avoided the safe that fell only inches away from her broom.
Instead she channelled the trapeze and flying skills of the MCs of her last two reads to swing across to the quaffle and then chucking the quaffle under the same safe, smashing the quaffle to pieces.
Nikk has finished reading Tightrope by Amanda Quick

All eyes in the arena now focused on the Montrose chasers and wondering where the Who Must beaters are... Are they going to perform one of their signature moves and barrel in from nowhere to stop that goal....?
The arena is a mass of tension!
The arena is a mass of tension!
Jenny and Suzanne trying to distract everyone's attention from their beaters, with that discussion of hot men and schlepping...

Chaser Suzanne schleps to the Quaffle and starts searching the ground. She's going to repair that thing...unless she spots a lot of hot guys growning. Oh that book!

Is it working?

Judith employing classic dirty talk to put off the opposition, who looked sick to their stomachs at that comment! TWMNBN using all the gamesmanship tactics at their disposal to keep the Magpies off balance

Tired and hot from her keeper exertions and needing a nap, Keeper Nikk schleps off the field muttering something about hot men....
Hazel energetically jumps on her broom and flies out ready to take over keeper duties

Judith knows that Love Is Love, but has no problem breaking the hearts of the Montrose Magpies as she sends their Quaffle to the ground in pieces. (letter E, read by Vicki)

Anna (bamaace83) retrieves the sad looking quaffle and sets about repairing it

Aha! Beater Alysa is attempting to stop those Magpies from distracting Seeker Rebecca as she tries to spot the snitch.
