ah thank you for catching this- i could've sworn i put it in as a link! I'll fix it right now; can I go in and edit it to have the linked book in for credit, or do i need to make a new post to link the book? sorry for the confusion!

I don't see anything in your post or in the book description that shows that the main character is a musician involved with the theatre, or that this book involves the theatre in any way. The task states that the main character must be a musician involved in the theatre, and the task creator made it clear that a musician must play at theatres, not just be a musician, See post 12 of the help thread.

Task 30.7, option 4, states that the author must share a "first or last name" with an actor in the movie. Austin Channing Brown's first name is Austin and last name is Brown, so does not match with Stockard Channing.

Task 25.3, option C, requires that your book be part of a trilogy or 3 book series. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes does not affect the "trilogy-ness" of the original trilogy, but it also cannot be counted as part of the trilogy. As you state, half numbers are not included, and this book is 0.5.

We do not use kindle page numbers in the SRC. Please see the Rules of the Challenge:
"If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition."
There is no MMPB for The Fall. The top pb edition is The Fall, which has 448 pages and does not meet the requirements of the task.

The author has two last names, Channing Brown. Her website is austinchanning.com / Twitter https://twitter.com/austinchanning and she wrote under Austin Channing until very recently. Let me know if this is sufficient info! Thank you!

Sorry, this won't work - we go by the name listed in the GR record, not by twitter handles or past names used. Names are determined by spaces - since there is a space before Brown, Brown is the last name used on GR and thus in the SRC.

A book that only exists in ebook form cannot be used for a task requiring a specific number of pages - in this case, ending in 5. The ebook approval thread only verifies that the book has at least 100 pages, and thus can be used in the SRC.
