Lesley | 1594 comments Our October pages are tallied and here are the stats ...

Total group pages read for the month of October 32,550

Total group pages read for the year to the end of October 191,972

Winning page turner and person with the highest bonus points total is Deborah with 13,542 pages and 350 bonus points.

For your efforts Deborah you get to create the bonus points challenge for November - sorry about the late notice. When you have rustled something up, just post it here and I'll link it back to message #2 for easy finding.
This will be the final bonus points challenge for 2015 so anything goes ☺

Deborah Pickstone | 131 comments 13,129 pages and 100 bonus points for November

Hmmmm....if I use Mauzi's bonuses as well, I am sure I can increase my points bonus..... ;)

Andrea Myers | 52 comments My wee contribution for the month is up :) Moved House so all my books were in boxes! haha

message 111: by Lesley (new)

Lesley | 1594 comments Sorry folks, forgot about this! Deborah, could you total up your November pages and bonus points in message #111 please.

Kathleen, did you not read anything in November??!!! or are you just like me and not entered your November reading yet.

I'm off to catch up on entering my November reads after I've stood in the naughty corner. :)

message 112: by Lesley (new)

Lesley | 1594 comments Sorry for being so late posting the group totals, but grateful thanks to those who got their totals up for November of whom Kathleen was Champion Page Turner and the only one who scored any bonus points - 40 - Congratulations, Kathleen.

Lesley | 1594 comments December is our last month of page counting for 2015.

Who is interested in doing this again next year, perhaps with some modification where the bonus points are concerned?
Could we have a show of hands please.

And is there a volunteer to run it for 2016 please.

I'm super keen to be involved in it again :)

message 115: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Pickstone | 131 comments I'm happy to do it again - I was going to suggest that if we do so we just take it in turns to set the bonus points or base them on different criteria, as I read so fast it makes it unfair on other people.

message 116: by Talia (new)

Talia Nyx I already can't wait to take part again next year.
I'm afraid that I cannot volunteer as tribute... I mean to run it, much as I would like to.

I broke 20,000 pages. COOL!

I don't think I will participate next year. I found myself reading only one or two of the kiwi monthly books & a whole bunch of YA to keep me near my reading goal. Rather than keeping track of pages, I want to put more effort into reading our kiwi novels.
