What are you reading in 2015?

@Katya & @Cindi,sheesh thats a price jump! seems ridiculous they can doing something like that! do you think the bills will stay that high or drop back down??
@Tammy, @Katya & @kate.I have the kindle app on my mobile, but im not a big fan of it, the screen is to small and my mobile to fiddly. I also have a few of the books stored on my laptop, one of which i was in the middle of reading when my kindle decided to play up on me. I'll finish reading that one, but i sit in front of a computer enough for work, dont want to go home and do it - best thing about my kindle i could read on the bus to and from work, or at a coffee shop or in a park. If i cant get it fixed I'll just have to get it replaced and hope for the best. :/
Didnt realise how much i used the thing till i cant use it anymore, lol.

Ashleigh....I would go through withdrawal without my ereader....I left it home from work one day...and even though I was not going to read at work, I was anxious about it all day long! I remember a friend of mine saying she was on her way with her husband to a doctors appointment and she made him go back home so she could get it. When he saw what she went back for (he thought she left her phone behind) he just nodded his head and looked at her like she had lost a screw...but she said she was willing to be late just to go back and get it...even just to hold it in her hand. We are silly. So I understand your pain.
I am reading a freebie
, a series which seems to star a young 18-year-old female apprentice. But the characters who assist her are the dangerous heroes/anti-heroes. Lots of fighting action so far.
I have just finished
now onto book 3
.Also listening to Slade's story
which I feel has really picked up in the second half. I'm really glad the next book is on Valiant! I'm very intrigued by him so was hoping it would be :-)
Read in one sitting, Lisa Cach's erotic novella, Slave Girl, set in the ancient Roman Empire. Delicious! Imaginative, suspenseful, rather kinky tale by one of my old favorite authors of romance. On the downside, Slave Girl is the first of a four-part series, and the cliff-hanger ending made me want to throw things. Argh!

Tiger
I am looking forward to Numbers.
@ CC and @ Katya,I've just got Valiant! And now I'm even more looking forward to it after both your comments.
Up until we 'met' Valiant in book 2 I was miffed there was another book to get through before reading Justice lol! Not so now ;-)
Wrath hasn't been in the books up to where I am yet, but the other New Species you mentioned have.
I was really pleased with the introduction of the wilder less human-like New Species in Slade as I had been wondering about that aspect.

You will love Valiant! He may be a little primal, but he is SWEET!
Justice has mixed reviews. I really did not like it, but many did. I had a totally different expectation of how he would behave so it did not work for me.
Wrath has not been rescued yet so you have not met him. His story is no angst and really sweet but still with some action.

"You will stay with me forever, You belong to me and I belong to you."
I Loved Valiant...he is so protective and honest and sincere....oh and he likes fun in the sack alot....what is so cute is that he is so straight forward that his feelings are hurt easily....so vulnerable emotionally but physically he is a beast! LOVE him. But I think Tiger is my favorite so far....
Although, I can't wait for Vengeance to get his book. He is my favorite. Poor V he just wants a mate and keeps trying to claim any woman he sees. He is so lonely. I think it is cute how someone dropped off a litter of kittens and they gave them to V to raise just to keep him busy way up in the Wild zone. Come to mamma V....she will take good care of you. lol.
When a new one from this series comes out I just start it right away and stop what ever I was reading.

I just "discovere" them this year. Read them all in a week! Now I am anxious for more. Ven is definitely on my list! I loved the kitten thing too! I know LD is behind due to her illness but I really hope we get a new book this year! I have even listed to a couple on audible.

I'd known about the series for awhile and finally decided to get Fury last year on audiobook. I'm so glad I took the plunge and read one of her books again as I had been previously left less than impressed by the 2nd Zorn warriors book. The New Species series is completely different and a good world to get lost in!
I've not met Vengeance yet either lol but I am also intrigued by Moon. I liked him and his sense of humour.
Kryptonite wrote: "Just finished
and it was awesome. Love this series!" I know, right?Am almost thru with
, which has had me bawling off and on so far (its about 9/11), then have Keri Arthur's
on deck.
Started and dnf this one Blamed. The silliness of the plot intruded too much. Had much better luck with Behind the Mask. The formula done very well. The plot here too is outlandish (what is with all those billionaire vigilantes, can't they go and BDSM some intern or other?) but the MCs (who thankfully are not billionaires) are endowed with intelligent thoughts, act and interact like intelligent people on heat and under pressure (my favourite kind!). And not a stupid misunderstanding in sight (and, goodness!, is there room for such).
I currently read Elizabeth Lennoxs' free erotica e-book series War, Peace and Harmony.
and
. It was fun... short e-books. 100-200 pages...
Random Kindle update from ages ago - I left it for a while. then re-booted it a few times. afterwards it seems to be working fine. seems being the key word, i dont trust it yet, so im currently reading a book i borrowed from the library. The Lovely Bones its really good.
I just put a couple of excellent books on my DHASG reading list. I'd highly recommend both to those who love the dangerous, action hero type, barely held in by society's rules.
Code Name: Papa and
On the Edge of Love
We'll see how I like it. I'm halfway through and so far it's interesting, but I'm a little iffy on the steampunk factor.
Decided it was about time i finally got around to finishing
as i had to put it down a while back... due to reasons i cant recall. anyways i rather enjoyed it at the time, so thought now was the prime time to get back into it.
I recently read
and
.I started reading
today. I am really excited about it.I really loved Daughter of Smoke and Bone and liked the other two.
Those of you who are looking for a really good PNR vampire warrior series that flys under the radar try
The Protectors by Teresa Gabelman
They are part of the "VC Warriors" who police the world from rogue vampires who might muck up the relationship between humans and vampires. There is a thread which deals with the prejudice, fear and "illegality" of what they call "half breed" vampires. And lots of angst, family drama, and vampires who are just normal people with some extras.
To be a VC warrior you go through a grueling training and test to be imitated,...alot like BDB. Anyway, these books are loaded with lots of romance, sex, action, great characters and funny banter. Each book features a different couple. (Except #6 & 7)
I just finished up with the bunch and waiting for Jax's book to come out.
finished
wasnt to bad. started
pretty much as soon as i had finished, i was intrigued about what had happened to Tally.

Love the whole series of
too.
Loved the new Sandra Brown, "Friction." She redeemed herself after the lazy, disappointing "Mean Streak."
Susan (the other Susan) wrote: "Loved the new Sandra Brown, "Friction." She redeemed herself after the lazy, disappointing "Mean Streak."" Echo echo echo. I much preferred Friction to Mean Streak.
Finshed
and
both very entertaining YA reads.Mortal danger had lots of drama, magic, talked about suicide, had a brooding but very sweet love interest and there's talk about a time travel machine in the future....whats not to enjoy?
The Army of the Undead was really fun, we followed german witch hunters from the 1600's during the holy roman empire. there was lots of sword fights! zombies! homicidal fallen angels! tomb full of traps! and the boat from noah's ark.... it was ridiculously fun.
Now reading
how wonderful is that cover? I was actually on the way out of the library after picking up
when i saw this (it's one of those fast back books so i can only loan it for 7 days max) so yea i went back and hired it out as well!! here's hoping its good! the back sounded very interesting.

Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that. Did you know that you can download a free Kindle reading app to a computer? It is listed under the Kindle Store on the Amazon website as Free Reading Apps. It only takes a few minutes to download and then you have access to all your Kindle books that you own. I prefer to read on my Kindle but reading on the computer is better than nothing. Hope you get you Kindle fixed soon!
I've been reading The Monkey's Raincoat / Stalking The Angel / Lullaby Town and really enjoying them. Not any romance to speak of but definitely a dangerous hero.
