I read these books around 2016-2018

If I remember correctly the books start off at a school dance. I clearly remember a scene in the book where she is showing a guy that she can turn invisible but when she does it he thinks she hid somewhere because of their brains cant process it.

During the book there is a another scene where all the people with superpowers are being separated and when she tries to run and use her invisibility she finds out that people using cameras or looking from far away can still see her.

She also has a guy friend that becomes a lover I'm pretty sure that has all of his 5 senses really enhanced

I think there were multiple books in the series and i can't remember if this was apart of a book later in the series but eventually, she other people with power get sent into combat against Russia somewhere next to the Canadian border
