The following 4 books are all combined with Dune (first book of the Dune Chronicles series). However, they're numbered "1," "2," "3," and "4."

My two working theories:
1. These are the first "Dune" book separated into 4 volumes.
2. These are the first 4 books of the Dune Chronicles series.
Either way it seems that they should be separated them from the full "Dune" book." But I'd like some clarification before making those edits. Would a Japanese speaker be able to do some research on this?
