It's that good? Perhaps I will try to do a little "stealth" reading, so don't be surprised if I comment occasionally. When are you starting?
Oh just ask everyone what a mess I was with this last year. Book 1 was good, 2 was awesome, 3+ was omg omg it's soooo good. I'm soooo jealous y'all get to meet Dex for the first time.
Ok, Jenne. I'm going out on a limb and trusting your recommendation. Fellow readers, when shall we begin? This is a loooong book!
I am with Jenne. You HAVE to read this book and the entire series. I am planning a re-read sometime this year and probably every year forever. I love me some Dex and Perry. Have fun!

I think I can do 4, maybe 5 chapters a day.

I am not starting this one today, but y'all go ahead. I need to finish bold tricks so I can get that series wrapped up. I can start on Monday AFTER THE COWBOYS come back from the Ice Bowl 2

Is it a good read?
Is it a good read?
CHAPTERS 1 - 4 Well, one thing I can say is this book creates a certain atmosphere. I am reading in a room illuminated only by the light from my muted TV. I caught myself looking up from my tablet and scanning the room just to make sure I am alone and nothing is sneaking up on me! LOL
I am also glad to know that nothing can approach me from behind because the back of my chaise is against the wall. Reminds me of a couple of centuries ago when I was a kid watching horror movies late at night - alone, utterly terrified, and loving it. So one thing this book has helped me to remember is how much I like to be scared, um, in a controlled environment that is. (Oh Btw, perhaps you've noticed I often ramble? Get used to it. There will be more!) Uh, insert maniacal laughter here 》》BUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Anyhow, I am confused, suspicious, and wondering (view spoiler)
I am stopping here as we agreed.

Good morning, my Ezi. Hey, before you get those undergarments twisted consider the source . . . and the setting. It was a dark and stormy night, (Sorry about that one. I couldn't resist! LOL) 2 a.m.-ish, I'm a resident of The Nest, and .... hmmm, I think I have to put that last thought in a PM! Seriously though, it's a ghost story so a little scary goes with the territory! AND four other people are reading this book and no one has made a similar comment. Probably just me and my (insert eyebrow waggle here) overactive imagination!

Blood and gory I can do (see Spartacus) but ghosts? Then again, I wasn't scared by Amanda Steven's series
. I didnt' why everyone was so scared. SO I might be alright with this one

Jenne wrote: "It's really more creepy and eerie vs scary."Ok, Jenne. I can roll with that. To me creepy means as I read the hair stands up on the back of my neck. Scary means I want to scream, run, and maybe hide in a closet. So yeah, creeeeeeee-py!
I'm nearly finished this now, really enjoyed it and will definitely carry on with the series, love Dex already he's quirky! I'm right near the end (view spoiler)

I'm going to read the next one in Feb if you fancy it guys?"
Are you going to be hooked like Jenne and Kristin-Terror (K-Terror)?

Haha I don't think I'll be that hooked but it does make you want to pick the next one up, it's like you are just meeting the characters and getting to know them.
