The first 5 chapters really help the reader to get to know Macy. I really never liked her boyfriend Jason, and the offhanded way that he treated he when he went off to Brain Camp, just made me want to hurt him.

The special relationship that she and her date have really makes you feel his loss.
Lastly, Delia and Wes come into the story at jusf the right moment.
