Looking for a book i read between 1984 and 1989 about a boy who possibly lived on an island and his dad was a scientist and he had a pet or clone of Godzilla that was small, almost human size. Book was a paperback with a black cover and maybe a Godzilla like monster. Thanks in advance for any help!
