. I received a widget from J.D. Barker. How could I say no?
So glad a couple of my pub dates have been pushed back. Deadly Waters was pushed back to September a while ago and now Paris Never Leaves You was just changed to August 4th on NetGalley. That gives me a little time to catch up again.
Ok, so I haven't done very well this month; I've added one and finished none. My goal is to read 3 review books by the end of the month, at least 2 of them from NetGalley. That gives me a week and a half to become a productive reviewer. lol Good thing we have a RAT next week. That may help me.
I finished one and it was not great.
The Silent House sounded so good. It was just slow and boring. One thing I did like was that it involved the deaf and hard of hearing community and I found that fascinating.Also, I have a question. I was approved for one called I Am, I Can by Wynne Kinder (there is no link here that I could find). It is a "protected PDF" and when I try to download it I can't. I tried on my kindle, my phone and my computer. It wants to use OverDrive, which I have, but it says "not supported". On my phone it just says "waiting" but never downloads.
Any advice?
Vicki - Book is here: I Am, I Can: 365 Affirmations for Kids. I'm not sure about the downloading issue. Sounds like a glitch in the book. Did you try re-downloading from NetGalley?
Kristie, Thanks for the link! That is the problem. I can't GET it downloaded from NetGalley. I don't have any device it will go onto. I am going to try again and them I might have to send them an email.

Then again, it could just be the one they have is bad and it own't help at all. I might contact the publisher.

That has happened to me before. I contacted the publisher and had to download bluefire reader but it still wouldn't download even after half an hour. I ended up clicking on the link to say I couldn't review the title
End of month - I started 2 ARC's, finished none and added 4 more books. Next month should be better (I think).
I'm still hoping to finish one NetGalley book today. I didn't do nearly as well as I'd hoped this month, but next month will definitely be better. I have one already started and my goal will be 4, I think. I did at least finish a Bookish book that I won, so one review down even if it wasn't a NG.
