I've never been so behind on my reading...I'm blaming the quarantine and having my lovely family ALL up in my "business" and having to cook like I'm a short order cook all the time...and I could go on and on...but I'm grateful for it...just wish I had more reading time too dang it!!
Jen wrote: "I'm in! No idea what to read! I will probably just copy someone! LOL"Oh Jen...you're the best!!
I'll read The Overdue Life of Amy Byler , which I've owned for a while as a Kindle First read (and is in KU). Published 01 May 2019! Can't believe it's almost May. WTF?
I have NO idea what to read... I'll figure something out.
ETA...oooh, I might go with Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan.

Michele, you know you want me to copy you!!! But alas, you have picked a 3rd book in a series! So I will probably read
or
or both

Just browsed my huge TBR list here, and here are some ideas for you guys:
Tried to limit it to more popular authors and books I thought everyone would be interested in -- if anyone has feedback on any of the above, let me know! Still trying to decide which one to read!
Here's some other ideas. I shelve books per month of release and I haven't gone through and deleted 2018 and 2019 yet. Here's those I shelved for May (check the actual publication date because sometimes they change after I shelve them):May 2018 releases
May 2019 releases
And here's the listopia list for May releases for 2020. Most of these should be correct. I deleted about 60 off this list the other day that weren't May releases:
May 2020 releases
I have a question. Are any characters who are in F*ck Love also in F*ck Marriage (by Tarryn Fisher)?

I think they are on hoopla and I was thinking I'd check them out someday.
Pfft, how did I forget... I KNOW what I'm going to read for May...
Ms Layne's book comes out this month.
Ms Layne's book comes out this month.
My May pick will be Another Life by KL Shandwick (and I really hate that I can't go on the desktop site from this phone now to enter the covers and also "like" or reply to other people's posts now. -_- )
OH HEY!!! Red, White & Royal Blue was published in May last year!! I might read that one too....or save it for the month we need a color in the title, I'm not sure yet. but I'll stick with my original choice for my "official" pick for this month. ^_^

Thanks, Leslie. I looked at the F*ck Marriage GR page again and someone asked the question and the answer was that they have zero in common. So for now, I guess I'll take their word for it.
Grey--unless someone tells me different about F Love and F Marriage not being at all related, for my May release book, I'm planning to listen to
Btw, if I was reading ebooks in May, my pick would for sure be Layne's book, Life Forgotten, but as it is now, I won't have time to do ebooks until sometime in June.

Great thanks! Thats definitely my pick!
I was going to go with Carry the World bc I just got it recently...maybe if I have time I....wait what am I saying, thats highly unlikely 😂😂😂
IDK if anyone else is looking still but i found this list...https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
Finished Another Life by KL Shandwick. I loved it. I give it 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was not as I expected and not like any other second chance I've read. It was definitely a "slow burn" but I think more importantly, it was REAL. Real emotions and real struggles with real enlightening moments, that led to real character growth. I could see the his story happening in real life, with real peolle. There weren't any 'over the top' or 'overly dramatic simply for the sake of creating drama' moments and it didnt need any of that to make it a great story. I absolutely loved it. ❤
Finished Life Forgotten 4☆ i really enjoyed it! A slow burn...a story of love and life and living it for yourself...Thank you Layne for the copy and for sharing this journey with us 😁😚❤
Finished
: 4*Enjoyed it a lot, a beach/summer read that was quite funny and quick. It is a little bit similar with
but I still found it enjoyable.
Jean wrote: "Michele, I assume you have to read the series in order - I have all 3 books and am tempted!"Jean, I actually haven't, but now I really want to go back and read the others. I got this one as an ARC...I still enjoyed it without reading the others first. However, I imagine the reading experience would be richer with all the back history.
I actually just read Layne Demer’s book and I loved it, and I’m not just saying that because she’s in our reading group, I gave it an honest 5 stars ⭐️
I need to update the stats, that's my plan for tomorrow...so if anyone wants to update before I do that, yay! LOL!

Cátia's choice ~ Any book published in May. Could be May 2020...could be May 1999...
This will be the discussion thread for all our May published books we read this month. You can read as many as you'd like, but please let me know which one you're picking!
What we do need is for you to sign up, and let us know you intend to participate before the 5th of May and then, (this is the important part), come back and let us how you rated it or what you thought of it before 1159 p.m. of the last day of the month. That's it. Pretty simple, really.
(The last time we did this, we all used our massive TBR piles and made it a rule that this was a TBR challenge...I'm forgoing that rule this time, because-fun! I want this to be fun and not a slog to get through, you know? However, you certainly can stick to that rule, if you want to.)
Each month that you participate and finish on/before the last day of the month, you will get your name added to a list that will be eligible to be randomly selected from at the beginning of 2021 for a $10 Amazon gift card.
*Pay no attention to this spoiler right now, this is just my list of who participated last month in alphabetical order...because my OCD compels me and this makes it slightly easier in the grand scheme of things, LOL!
