Renee, It's mostly my own issues. 1.) the hype over the book had my expectations through the roof, 2.) I started out listening and even though it was the usually amazing Julia Whelan, I felt like she wasn't using the right intonations, inflections, and emotions for the heroine. I think it kind of ruined the first part of the book for me. It was still good, but it didn't have the spark I was expecting.

The romance definitely got swoony and I really enjoyed the story overall, but I'm still on the fence about my rating. Probably 4 stars, at the least. I think you'll enjoy it, especially now that you know not to have super high expectations like me. Lol.

T--okay, thanks! When the number of holds start dwindling, I'll put it on hold at the library. If I do it now, I'll end up deleting it when something that I can get more quickly comes into the picture. I can "only" put 10 books on hold at once, after all! 😂

Life Forgotten by Layne Deemer
I absolutely Loved this book!! Very Relatable Characters!! Loved this book so much!! I also, loved this is a close to home book too. The author is writting from experience which makes it very realistic!!

I almost forgot to leave my review again🙄.
I absolutely loved this book. Really loved Nellie and Jude. Very relatable characters and you just want to root for them from the beginning. Definitely a must read.
