Series Challenge 2015

I for one am a sucker for an awesome series. My only problem is that I start them and never finish or end up feeling overwhelmed by how many books in a particular series then just decide not to even start. Well, this year is going to be different. It's the year of FINISHING THOSE BOOK SERIES', whether it's having 1 left or starting fresh.

What you need to do is choose the level you wish to participate in and challenge yourself to finish the series' you post. It's pretty simple, the only real rule that you need to follow is that the series needs to have at least 3 books in it (but of course it can be more). You can read YA, NA or any other genre that you fancy, as long as it's a series. Post a link to your folder labelled SERIES CHALLENGE 2014 and post the book covers and title of the series in your post here and date them as you finish.

Levels:
That's Too Easy - Finish 1 to 5 series
I'm Testing Myself - Finish 5 to 10 series
Good Grief, I'm Gonna Bust - Finish 10 to 15 series
What Have I Gotten Myself Into - Finish 15 - 20 series

You have the whole year to complete this challenge. So, choose a level that you feel is best suited to you and wipe some books off your TBR List. LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN!

*If you have already started a series, those still count!!!!*

Coolies McAwesomsauce - thanks! =) Quick question: 'cause I'm not getting it...are we supposed to create our own threads now or are we supposed to wait for one of y'all to do so? And when your say "folder" do you mean within the group or are we supposed to make a designated shelf?

Okay so on the pages discussion feed. There is a folder labeled 'competitors' in there I made you a feed labeled 'katys challenges'. ALL year-long challenges except for a-z goes in there.

That's fine, I have The Lunar Chronicles on my list, just as long as by the time jan 1st 2016 rolls around you've read all that are currently in print it will count! :D

@Savannah: I suspect that without me, you'd be happily reading in peace instead of having someone point out the World's smallest mistake! LOL

Do we need to make specific lists for our series challenge like I did with my Goodreads Best of 2014 or can we just apply them as we read like with the A-Z Challenge?

Is it OK if the series we start only has 1 or 2 books published thus far or does it have to be something with 3 already-published works? I can make it work either way - just curious...thanks!

As long as there will be two in print by December 31st 2015 I don't care how many it has right now. The series will not count if when we go to compare next year if that series only has one book read in it.

And I would like it if you would list them out now and mark them with TBR or the completion date. Remember you can use series' you've already started! :D

Sorry no to the Graphic Novels... Nope you just have to finish the series in your year span.... so if you've started a series and have one book left and you finish it after your start date... it counts... but obviously the point of this is to get series our of you tbr list..
