I listened to this book on audio when I was in middle/early high school. The main character of the book is a teenage boy who lives in a domed city (the weather is always perfect, the 'sky' is made up of panels in the dome). He and his sister were created in test tubes and ordered by their parents. Since they were invented by different scientists, they have different personalities. I think the brother is quieter and more rebellious and the sister energetic and curious and extremely smart. They watch tv game shows where if you lose, you die. One of the contestants is the scientist that designed the boy's sister. There's a dog (a german shepherd), in the mix too, and he's really important, but I don't remember when he showed up or whether or not he's a robot. The boy manages to escape the city somehow and learn lots of secrets, but I can't tell you what those secrets were. Please help me find out again!
