I read this book in the mid-90s. It may have been a series of books.

There’s two sisters in the family one in her teens the other in elementary school. The younger sister steals her parents tax form and files it using stickers and coins. They mail the from back to her at the end of the book. The parents are upset because they can’t find the tax form.

In another scene they go to the house of the older sister’s friend. The family is rich, and I think they talk about paying for camp. They have cherries and the little sister eats a bunch, but doesn’t know what to do with the pits, so she holds them in her white gloves.

The last scene I remember they go shopping and the only word the little sister can read from the shopping list is marshmallows.
