My dad took those this morning. He took the Amish who are up visiting around to look for moose (early morning or late evening is the best time to see them.)

I just got my porch flags ready for Friday while I'm waiting for the internet dingbats. On September 11th, I always display the flags with black mourning ribbons tied to the top of the poles. That drapes down over the flags. I do the same thing on Memorial Day. The rest of the year, I fly them without the mourning ribbons. I'm the only one in my town who displays them that way. Since they extend from the porch posts, I can't fly them at half-staff, so the mourning ribbon is appropriate instead. Anyway, at least I'm being productive while I wait.Pammy Jo

No satisfaction from my internet provider. My neighbor is having the same trouble. We are both switching to a different provider. It will be several days before we get it in order, so I will try to check in as I can until the whole mess gets straightened out. I HOPE it gets straightened out, anyway. I am quickly losing confidence in all of our local utilities. It makes me feel like pitching a tent in the woods and dropping out of society...how I long for simpler times!Pammy Jo

I'll tell you the story so it doesn't get twisted. We were having practice today and I was having trouble playing what was on the page. (In my defence I had never played it before.) I demanded to know why the page didn't say what I was playing. Steve laughed the hardest I think I've ever seen him laugh!
