I have been busy catching up with everything here...when I'm able to be online. I've had a productive day so far. The weather is lovely here today, so I decorated my porch for Fall. ๐ป๐๐๐๐พ๐Several neighbors stopped by while I was outside and it was nice to see them!๐กIt is Fire Company Hoagie Day today. ๐The local firehouse sells hoagies once a month as a fundraiser. They haven't been able to have their hoagie sales since March because of the Covid restrictions, but now they have resumed the sale. ๐ I just picked up our hoagies and got to see some other friends from town there, too! My mom and I will enjoy a tasty supper later!๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฅช๐๐
I do hope I can check in more often today! We'll see.๐ฅโจ๐I sure have been missing all of you!โน๐๐ค

We used to have a wood stove, too. Our homeowner's insurance suddenly decided to charge a ridiculous rate because of the stove, ๐ so my mom and I dismantled and removed it a couple of years ago. I miss it so much! There's nothing quite like the sound and smell of a wood fire!๐

We have some friends who wanted to get a woodstove but couldn't because of all the regulations. We get around it by using a Hitzer coal stove, which also works with wood.

Yay, Pammy Jo! I hope the new provider is a lot better than the old one! Not good customer relations, that's for sure!
They still have not shown up to change my internet and I am not pleased! This is the first time I've had a connection since early this morning. ๐ I'm rather disgusted with our utility companies. They are not prompt at all. If I would not be prompt in paying my bill, I am sure they would let me know right away that they were displeased.๐คจ๐ ๐ฌ

Finally! I am back online. The guy came, hooked everything up and it worked...until he left! As soon as he pulled away, the connection failed again. He came back and discovered the splitter he used was faulty! (Whatever that means) He hooked up a new splitter and now it works fine. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays well connected. Now I need to eat, but I'll be back...hopefuly.๐Pammy Jo

At the beach, Wells Maine (settled in 1643!).

On Cadillac Mountain. The wind was blowing between 25 and 45 mph with higher gusts, so it was all I could do to keep my feet on the ground! I'm not very happy with the way these pictures turned out. And then the batteries fell out of the camera at one of the places we pulled off, so I had to use my dad's phone to take pictures from the summit. So I'll be posting more later after I get some of them on the computer!
