Either way is fine with me, whichever you prefer! π You could post in the Buddy Read Requests and see if anyone else would like to join. When were you thinking of reading it?

Which do you like the most?"
Actually 'The Pioneers' was my first introduction to him. 'The Deerslayer' is chronologically the first in the 'Leatherstocking Tales', but Cooper didn't write them in order and they can each stand alone, so it doesn't really matter how you read them. If that makes any sense? π€¦ββοΈπ
I think 'The Pathfinder' will always be my favorite, but then whenever I read a new one I think that's my favorite for a while! π€£

reading it over two month- I don't
to rush the reading experience.

Yes, she is! She turned a year old on the 7th of December...a Pearl Harbor baby. It's funny, because before I knew her birthday one of the names I had considered was Pearl! I never want her to outgrow her puppy ways! She's a love! π€
Yay! I'm so pleased to hear you will be joining us for The Dean's Watch...I know you'll love it, being an English literature lover!

Yes, but by the time I found out about her birthday I had already decided on Twilight. It really seemed to suit her markings, and I had already told everyone her name was going to be Twilight, so I didn't really want to change it. My father tried to get me to name her "Sveta" which is Russian for "light," and I like the name, but I would always have to spell and explain to everyone what it meant, and also try to get the pronunciation across...I just felt like Twilight was easier!
I'm really looking forward to discussing the book with you!
