It's a book about random facts of nature with a brown cover and a picture of a volcano on the cover. Each topic takes up two pages: an illustration on the left side and text on the right. Topics include: Lake Baikal; Volcanoes; Carnivorous Plants; Lake Nyos; The Great Rift Valley; Quicksand; etc.
