I also wanted something free...and then to read something new! Still looking.

I struggled finding something in the top 100 that was free (that was the main problem) + interested me + I have not yet read but th..."
I read The Summer I Turned Pretty. I liked it:-)

That list truly is endless! I read a bit into The Summer I turned pretty and its easy-going and nice. I will stick with this one. I enjoy Jenny Han's writing. I also liked it in To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
I will go to bed now, but Happy Reading!!!
And hope you find something, Laura!

I enjoyed Wallbanger I might have given it 4 stars which is high for me on a romance.

I read the Vampire Academy series and I really liked it! I wasn’t young either. Very much an adult when I read it. LOL

Oh yeah, getting books free is always better! I try to limit how much I buy. But every year Audible and Amazon get a good amount of money from me. But not as much as before. I justify it by telling myself I gotta keep them in business! LOL

Book:

Author: Penelope Douglas
Read: 4/30/20
Pages: 333 ( Kindle Edition)
How it fits: we chose to use the list All Time Favorite Romance Novels (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1... ) and my book was number 516 on the list

Here is your next task:
54. Read a minimum of 1200 pages in books of the same sub-genre, but by different authors.
You will need to select the sub-genre, then make sure that all books are by different authors. Make sure you use the Kindle edition page count.

I hope contemporary romance still stands for everyone !! I will pick something later today and post it, but I think we won't have any trouble picking different authors.

343 pages. so we are at a total of 1014 Pages. We would need 1 more shorty.

So, I read Punk 57. It’s misleading- it’s tagged young adult because it’s about teenagers set in high school but the subject matter is adult with several topics that can be difficult to read about. Maybe I didn’t like it because it was such an accurate depiction of high school life?
I thought it was a total train wreck but couldn’t stop reading.
Perhaps you will like it more especially since you didn’t mind the other Douglas book you read.

I struggled finding something in the top 100 that was free (that was the main problem) + interested me + I have not yet read but then I found The Summer I Turned Pretty in my library overdrive! YAY!!
Thank god, because I was //this close// to buying Vampire Academy because I feel I missed out as a teen by not reading it LOL but then again... I don't know if I would enjoy this as an adult. ???
I read into some of P.Douglas books that I found on KU and I found Bully interested me the least since (if I remember correctly) it was single POV?? (also I think the bullying would stress me out) but if its the only Free one ... I think its a quick read?
