MountainKat | 31598 comments Here is Task 7, after a slight delay...

75. Read 6 books that have the same romance trope, teams decide which trope.

Please include the trope you decide on in your qualification.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1083 comments Gay For You is really easy to find so I think that one would be great but here are a couple of other ideas:

Gay For You: Gay For You List
Enemies to Lovers: Enemies to Lovers
May/December: Age Difference List
Out For You: Out for You List
Friends to Lovers: Friends to Lovers

I can find something for all of these.

message 156: by Shelby (new)

Shelby (stang_lee) | 1970 comments My vote would be...

1. Enemies to Lovers
2. Gay For You

I can find things on the others, but those I have things planned for with Bingo. :)

message 157: by MyzanM (last edited Apr 25, 2020 12:25AM) (new)

MyzanM | 317 comments I have tons of options for all of those tropes.
I’m not much of a planner so I really can do any of them in a timely manner and will definitely be able to do 2 as needed.

ETA: I just realized Captive Prince, 241 GR, is both Enemy to Lovers (#92) and Gay for You (#1) lists.
I’ll start that one now. I can easily change if we decide on a different trope.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1083 comments Let's do Enemies to Lovers than if you guys don't mind. I have 2 books planned to read that fit that category.

I loved that series. The first one is pretty dark though - but by the time I finished the books I loved them.

MountainKat | 31598 comments Here is your next task:

59. Read 4 books published in the decade of a teammate's birth, team decides which teammate.

Use the initial publication date for this task!

**Remember to use the 1st edition Kindle page count - a couple of your completions had other editions for the last task. I am going to get pickier about completions being accurate. It is the only way I could think of to try to keep things even with some tasks requiring page counts. 😊

MyzanM | 317 comments I’ll be reading The Color of Magic, 293 GR, first published 1983

I’m sure if I squint a bit I can find a homoerotic angle... I’m sure there is some tension between the main characters.... 😉
Not really, I remember reading these books as a teen and have been thinking about re-reading them.

I vote Moon on this one. I know I have at least one that comes to mind and a lot of werewolf books have the moon clearly visible.

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1083 comments I've got nothing planned for either of those so I'll have to go look for something so moon is fine with me.

message 191: by Shelby (new)

Shelby (stang_lee) | 1970 comments I'm going to start with Touch of the Wolf (Historical Werewolf, #1) by Susan Krinard which will cover 418pgs so figured that was a good start. I need to read it for a different challenge so it works well for me.

It’s not a very good series, but they are short so I’ll go ahead and read the next one too...

Total pages so far: 554 pages

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1083 comments 696 Pages so far (Shelby is reading one with 418 pages) so we only need 86 more pages (Well actually 100 since that's the minimum page number for a book).

Sorry I wasn't much help on this one - I was working in my yard for a good chunk of yesterday so I didn't get to read as much. I'm catching up on some work today that I missed when I was out yesterday.
