I was just able to update my post because that is on thing that is lacking in the app. Anyways I wanted to just say thanks, instead of reading a gay, lesbian or bisexual book for the LGBT genre, I picked a transgender book. It was a really good book and I learned a lot. I am so happy that I am a part of this challenge and I thank you again.
Welcome! Glad you enjoyed the book. I read a book with an intersex character. It was really good too.
Description
Time travel could hypothetically involve moving backward in time to a moment earlier than the starting point, or forward to the future of that point without the need for the traveler to experience the intervening period (at least not at the normal rate). Time travel can form the central theme of a book or it can simply be a plot device to drive a story. Time travel in fiction can ignore the possible effects of the time traveler's actions or it can explote its repercussions (ie: paradoxes).

Oh Time Travel, that might be a nice one. I haven't read anything for the current month (not in a mood for Tragedy books, and probably won't be for a long time), but I will participate again next month.
Time travel is an awesome subject, there are so many ideas regarding methods and concepts which means you get lots of variety... these are a few of my faves:
ofcourse there are soooo many more tho!!
Hope yall might enjoy at least one of these.
I am so addicted to time travel writing!!! ;-)
I am SO late on this, but I'll be including April since that's the month I really started reading again:) April:Tragedy; Dark Places by Gillian Flynn 82%

Description
Humor is usually a work of fiction in which the writer seeks to amuse the reader, sometimes with subtlety and as part of a carefully woven narrative, sometimes above all other considerations. It could indeed be said that comedy fiction is literary work that aims primarily to provoke laughter, but this isn't always as obvious as it first may seem.
New Releases
Hey guys! I wanted to let you know that I will be taking over this challenge. I made a graphic for July but I am not sure how to upload it onto here so we will just have to go without for right now. :)JULY'S GENRE: MENTAL HEALTH
Description:
This genre is a genre that deals with any sort of mental health such as schizophrenia, suicide, eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and many more. If you're not sure whether a book will work, let me know!

Oh that is an interesting theme. I think I still have a few books about that topic that I want to read. :)Also thanks for taking this over Jacquelyn.
AUGUST'S GENRE: VERSE/POETRY BOOKSDescription: These are books that are written in verse, a type of poetry. They are very quick reads and can usually be read in an hour or two. Some very popular authors with verse books include Ellen Hopkins and Lisa Schroeder.

Oh, YAY!! I didn't want to push you, so I'm glad I was helping for once and not asking for help! That's my forte! Lol
Vicki wrote: "Oh, YAY!! I didn't want to push you, so I'm glad I was helping for once and not asking for help! That's my forte! Lol"LOL! No worries. :) Thank you!! I would have totally forgotten.
Caron wrote: "It's lucky that I own that one poetry book that I've been putting off for 5 years."Which? :)
Okay, now I can't decide which one to read. I have too many! I love Ellen Hopkins, of course, and I love Lisa Shroeder.
It's this weird book my dad found at a book sale. Middle grade I think. 'Wish you were here (And I Wasn't)'. I can't remember the author's name but it's filled cover to cover with the most random and weird poems.
Is it OK to skip genres challenges? If yes, then I will skip August, since I absolutely dislike verse/poetry books.
Absolutely! If it's not your thing, feel free. No requirement to complete all of them. It's just for fun! :)
These genres are really pushing my usual boundaries, which is awesome! I think I've already read Crank when I was younger, so I'll have to try another of the suggestions :)
