Something about this description rings a bell. Was it written by two different authors, who switched off, one writing the chapters from the boy's POV, one from the girl's?

The boy takes an immediate shine to her because she is pretty and doesn't think computers are an inherently nerdy pursuit.
The main characters switch off being the first person narrator.
Most of the book is trying to keep the girl hidden and figuring out a way to get her back to her own time.
