Aubrey | 4 comments I read this about 2012-2015 at my local library. It’s about a girl who has teleporting abilities, but she can’t control them very well. a friend of hers also could teleport and teleported to Earths surface which had lots of plants, contradicting the governments message that Earth was dead. I remember specifically that the friend had brought back a blade of grass and testing it revealed that it did indeed come from the surface. The government killed the friend and attempted to take the girls powers. The girl then teamed up with a boy and a robot to escape to the surface. I also remember that in this book you could die or be seriously injured and they would just put you in a vat of blue goo to rebuild you.

Aubrey | 4 comments Also, everything was in a bunker complex underground, so the thing they’re escaping is the bunker

Was the girl a teenager or a younger child?

Aubrey | 4 comments I believe it was a younger teen, like 10-15 range. also I remember the book was fairly new. Think it was a one-word title. The cover was the word spelled out vertically, and it looked like the word was a window… like you could see the sky in the top letter, grass and trees in the second, and it kept going down underground. it looked like a cross-section

Aubrey | 4 comments Excellent! you were right! thanks so much, that had been bugging me forever! P.S. to anyone else looking for it, it’s by Mark Magro not Margaret Atwood
