YA Fiction/Fantasy/Paranormal maybe. A boy gets into some trouble with a friend while on summer vacation, I think. 2009? Possible Spoilers ahead.

*MAYBE SOME SERIOUS SPOILERS AHEAD IF I AM REMEMBERING THIS BOOK CORRECTLY*
I read this book as a free read on Simon Teens old website called Pulse-It(now called Riveted). It was in 2009 or 2010 I believe. I think it was the first book of a series that I never got to finish. It is about a boy who is on summer vacation I think with his family and some family friends and they get into a bunch of paranormal trouble I think? It may have been demons and there May have been another dimension and some ghosts involved. I think his friend goes missing but ends up being dead and then he falls in love with his friends older sister I think. I randomly remembered this book the other day and cannot get it out of my head. Any information would be wonderfully appreciated!=)
