Renee, you must read Bryn Greenwood's books. Holy cow! is she a good writer. I bet the audio for Ugly and Wonderful is good. I listened to the audio of her newest (Reckless Oath) and it was fantastic. They used multiple narrators.

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments I have finished my pick 4 me early this time

affairytale. 3.5 ⭐️.

It was good but lacking, the writing was good, but it was repetitive. And the protagonist was really annoying.
It is a true story. There’s a second book. But the first was enough for me.

message 90: by Nay (last edited Apr 11, 2020 09:32AM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I'm giving 3 stars to Where the Blame Lies. I loved the dark story and the thriller aspects of it, but I felt like the rest of it was phoned in for an author who's been at this for the amount of time she has with such wonderful books. Clearly, I'm in the minority and getting more picky in my old age, so don't let me stop anyone from reading it. And I'm still looking forward to reading the next one!

Leslie | 2430 comments I finished! Thicker Than Water Thicker Than Water by Dylan Allen

It started out great but then by like 40% it started to drag for me. 3***

P.S. Although I am a notoriously picky reader, I am not fussy about narrators...the narration bothered me. I'd rec reading over listening for this one.

T. Rosado (trosado) | 338 comments I finished mine this morning and haven't rated it officially, but I'm leaning towards 3 stars. Which I'm bummed about, since I absolutely loved the previous books in the series. I didn't hate it, but I had some issues.

Oh wow, this one was on my list for so long & I never even knew what it was about. It was on there solely because Leylah has never steered me wrong. Once again I am just in awe of her. She’s a master at weaving such epic stories. It’s truly incredible. I’m giving it 5 stars, but really it deserves way more. Thanks for the fantastic pick, Judy!

Marta Renee, I finally finished the book but I don't even know what to think about it!I don't know of I liked it or not :S
It was a entertaining read but the part with the twist (80%) and the last twist were really weird, strange and boring...
Rating: probably 3*
