I love that scene where Bertie wants to save Gussi and tries to tell Spode that he knows his secret :D It's much more funnier on the show, what with the running around and Jeeves shaking his head at Bertie's stupidity and the actor who plays Spode being all purple in the face :D:D:D

But still. Hilarious :D

I really need to watch the show. That scene reminds me of the show Psyche. Have you seen it? I cannot remember if we discussed it.

Gus, the supporting character, is one of my top ten favorite tv personalities.

Gussie does always end up making an ass of himself, doesn't he? :D I love how Bertie comments on his "I was taking a fly out of Stephanie's eye" fiasco with "well, good for him for sticking to his story at least?" :D I wonder how he can't see that Gussie really wouldn't see why no one believes the story

And yes, you really MUST watch the show :D Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are just perfection! And the guy who plays Spode is THE BEST. So hilarious :D

That scene was better than the book. Spode is exactly how I pictured him. The casting was spot on. I will search for it today.

:D I LOVE Psych. I could do with a re-watch... I miss those idiots. My favorite after Shawnie will always be Lassie, though :D I love his grumpyness and the way he fights so hard admiring Shawn or wanting to strangle him :D

My favorite version of the intro is still the acapella version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-atn...). One of my favorite Shawn/Gus moments is the one at the very end where Shawn goes "boneless" and Gus drags him out of the office :D

I love how they kept the dialogue, though. They mostly kept the dialogue, even if they sometimes separate plots. Like this book for example. It's two episodes, one with the cow creamer, and one with the notebook. It actually works better, in my opinion
