Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I have Burn Bright (Alpha & Omega, #5) by Patricia Briggs

and then I was going to ask about Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder as I'm either going to start that or Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman next.

Already have a BR for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, #4) by J.K. Rowling ^_^

I found Burn Bright (Alpha & Omega, #5) by Patricia Briggs and Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder in ebook from the library. So I could read one of those with you. I read Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman a couple months ago.

message 262: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9896 comments It's my favourite readathon. It's so much fun, Crystal :) There's no rules, just read for 24 hours. The start time is the same all over the world and they have a converter on the website so you can find the start time in your time zone. Everyone is super active on all social medias, if you use IG and Twitter as well as Goodreads.

Here is the sign up link (they also host hourly discussions and challenges on here, as well):

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Just finished my HP 3 audio book. I still have a sh*t ton of manga to review and now I have this to review... 🤦‍♀️

I'll be trying to finish my one book that is dragging Burn Bright (Alpha & Omega, #5) by Patricia Briggs tomorrow and try to get some reviews done.

I'll also be starting HP 4 tomorrow.

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9896 comments I've been lagging with my reading over the past few days, but have a ton lined up for this weekend's readathon. I'm hoping to finish off a few of my current reads around then, as well as the new ones I have planned for it :)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Dannii wrote: "How's everyone getting on who is taking part in the 24 hour readathon?"

Not bad. I have listened to like 2 hours of audio today which is usual. I also am trying to read as much of my ebook as possible. Could be doing better but it's still pretty early for me since I got up late.

message 288: by Sarah A (new)

Sarah A (barrowerofbooks) | 1518 comments Dannii wrote: "How's everyone getting on who is taking part in the 24 hour readathon?"

Doing pretty good. Finished 2 books so far (1 physical and 1 audio). Just got back from a walking with my children, so back to reading!

Hope the read-a-thon is going well for you.

Happy reading everyone!

message 289: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments I’ve read a graphic novel and working one 2 other books and another graphic novel. Also read a kids book so it won’t count here but I needed something super easy as I tried to wake up. 5 am is more a go to bed time for me. Certainly not a get up time. Wishing I was father along but the first half is always slow for me. Picking up a good pace of reading now.

I agree 5 am came so fast when I fell asleep at midnight!

message 291: by Jamie (new)

Jamie | 12271 comments Yeah I normally don’t go to bed u til between 1-3 am and staying up that late has been know to happen a few times a year. So to suddenly get up and be awake enough to read....not so much lol.

message 292: by Dannii (new)

Dannii Elle (danniiellereads) | 9896 comments Sounds like you're all having a great reading day :) It's going well for me too. I'm just finishing up my fourth book but think I may need to sleep soon as I'm drifting...

That is still awesome. I am coming up on the night hours with no nap today. I hope I can stay awake for as long as I can.

message 296: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments I just finished my first Dewey's book! Only 168 pages were left but it wasn't that long so I still read like 75% of it

Yes. I'm still good. I'm feeling a bit tired but my goal is to be up for another 2-4 hours. I didn't wake up till noon so it's not a huge stretch for me. ^_^

Sarah A (barrowerofbooks) | 1518 comments Way to go bookbuyer. I have probably 2 hours left in me!

message 300: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Sarah wrote: "Way to go bookbuyer. I have probably 2 hours left in me!"

Awesome!

I want to either audio it or try to read some of Poison Study (Study, #1) by Maria V. Snyder the problem is I can't find my copy of Poison Study as it's probably packed away somewhere with all my other after M authors so I will probably have to try Scythe (Arc of a Scythe, #1) by Neal Shusterman or a manga instead unless I just skip the first trilogy and go right to Storm Glass (Glass, #1) by Maria V. Snyder
