I'm about halfway through Severance and am blown away by the voice of this narrator which is at turns wryly funny and full of wisdom. Here's a favorite quote: "A second chance doesn't mean you're in the clear. In many ways, it is the more difficult thing. Because a second chance means that you have to try harder. You must rise to the challenge without the blind optimism of ignorance."

Heya Alexandra,
Thanks for curating this. Pages 1-150 include which chapters? I'm participating without a physical book. Thanks!

Hey, Kennedy! Great question-- read through Chapter 13 and you'll be good to go!

This is a social media platform, so if you wanna friend me, it's all good! It might make it easier to organize ourselves going forward. It'll also make it easy to invite one another to online events across the web. For instance, there are some DPWC folks that might drop-in to the convo. tonight just for inspo. This is our site if you'd like to follow. DPWC2020.com We'd love to cross-pollinate with the CLA Book Club.
Todos son bienvenidos,
Carmen :-)

Int he meantime, I was interested in Ashley's fate and how some of her illness seemed linked to both the routines of consumerism and, in her case, the particular construction of gender that comes along with consumerism.
