Welcome members! Introductions...

I have recently started a bookstagram account named Kitabi Karwan (@kitabikarwan). The idea is not to review books or analyse them, but simply post thought about the book or what chain of thought the book took me on. I try to pair it up with aesthetically pleasing photographs of the book.
It would be great if you could check it out, and spread the word. I am also enthusiastic about engagement groups!

I would love some more friends that enjoy reading and be able to share my challenge successes, good books I've read and see what they are diving into.
Have a great day all and feel free to add as a friend. I can always use new reading inspiration.

I'd really love to complete the PopSugar Challenge this year, including the advanced portion of it. I've already started and I may or may not have peeked in this group a few times prior to joining it, like a total creep lol.
I look forward to discussing with you all and finding recommendations and new friends!

This is my second year doing the Popsugar Challenge, including the advanced portion. I have certain goals within each category, but in the end, I'm just doing my best.
I can't wait to get to know you all and maybe make some new friends!

This is my first year participating in this challenge and I'm hoping to finish all 50!

I'm happy if I manage to read 20 books for the challenge because I'm also doing Book Riot's 2020 Read Harder Challenge and Helmet Challenge (a Finnish reading challenge by Helsinki Metropolitan Area Libraries). I'll probably fail them all, but it's fun to try to find books that somehow fit in all three challenges. Anyway, I'll do my best with all three of them. My favorite genres at the moment are historical fiction, romance, contemporary, and YA.

I'm Teri from Northern California. The quarantine has given me extra time to read and wanting to chat about books with other readers.
Since the libraries here shut down, I had to learn how to "ebook". I've always been a paper book reader. Am also working in books on my shelf to read too.
Am looking forward to opening my reading horizons. Feel free to send friend requests if it looks like we might benefit from being friends :-)

I'm Marie from southwestern Illinois. This is my third or fourth year doing this challenge.
I'm also navigating my way through my library system's cloud library service. I was given a Kindle for Christmas a few years ago, too, plus have several overly full bookshelves at home, so while I miss my local library I'm trying to make the best of it.
My local shelter-at-home order has me spending more time not only reading, but crafting and working on projects around the house. There's the unfortunate side as well, but I try to focus on the positives.
I'm pretty open in what I read. I always say I'll try anything at least once. So I'm always looking for good suggestions!

My name is Alex. I am a high school math teacher from Georgia. I am starting the final year earning my PhD in Teaching and Learning from Georgia State University. I am taking full advantage of having some extra time at home to clear off my "to read" bookshelf!

I am from St. Louis, MO and since lockdown I have been looking for someone/group to talk about books I just read, am reading, or want to read. I have never done or heard of the PopSugar Reading Challenge, so I am super excited.

I am Eli. I have always loved the prompts and design of this challenge and I am so excited to be doing it this year!
I live in Germany and am currently doing a masters in Renewable Energy. Looking forward to reading along with you all!

I also found this ground from the free giveaway of Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey.

We're quarantined here so it's a good time to catch up.
I hope you're all safe and well.
Cheers!

I've only really started getting back into reading but I've been high on the buzz of accomplishment I feel when I finish a book. I've already been doing a fair bit of reading these last few months but I thought this challenge would encourage me to branch out and challenge myself even more. Not sure if I'll be able to complete all 40 general prompts but I will definitely try. I've been trying my best not to buy books because I already have a significant physical TBR so I've been utilising the free offers on amazon and apps associated with my library.

Hi Kathy, personally I think audiobooks are definitely ok for this challenge. Some people listen exclusively to audiobooks, so why not? :-)

Have been reading since I was a kid. My mom instilled this beautiful habit in me. Started with Winnie the Pooh (lol :D)
Life long fan of crime/mystery novels.
Glad to be a part of this group. Looking forward to exchanging book recommendations with you lovelies. :)

I'm JC from Chicago, Illinois! I got inspired to start this (albeit mid-year) because my mom has been doing the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge for a few years and I'm jealous of how much she manages to read because of it!
So, I figured I'd give a challenge a try and see if it reignites some of my reading fire. I studied English, so now sometimes I associate reading with just being work. I'm excited to pick new things I enjoy.

I've read a ton in 2020 but I haven't really been keeping track... I may go back and see if anything I've read can fit the prompts though.
Aside from that, I'm a knitter, artist and essential worker, since neither of the first two can really be used to support oneself, or their family. Or their cats...

I'm Whitney. I'm 27. I just finished my Master's degree in library science :) I've been trying to do one of these for a while, but I never seem to be able to finish it. So I'm going to make an actual go of it this year. I'm glad to see there's a group o keep me accountable :) Nice to meet y'all!
