I like fantasy a lot but this year I am trying to diversify a bit.
Nice to meet you all!

I set my goal at 40, and I really hope I can hit it!!
My name is Katie, I live in Minnesota. I used to be SUCH a big reader, and then with college and grad school, reading became much more of a luxury than anything! But i still love doing it! SO I'm making the intentional choices to read more!

This is the first time I am picking up a challenge like this. Let's see where it goes....

But baby steps haha. This year I plan to just fit the books I read to prompts. Maybe next year I'll actually be brave enough to CHOOSE a book that fits a prompt.
Last year I branched out into Audiobooks as well as paper back. Trying to still get into ebooks, which I just can't seem to enjoy as much, sadly.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I'll have a lot of free time this year, so I will be doing the PS Challenge and ATY.
I love planning, making spreadsheets and lists so this was a lot of fun! I have mapped out almost every prompt for PS, using when possible books form my to-read-list on GR. I want to read some classics, books from genres I hardly ever read and some nonfiction.

My hope is that I can use this reading challenge to expand my reading horizons. I spent the last few years reading books for my classes and then being particularly picky about the books that I read in my free time so I stuck to my familiar genres (YA and romance). This year I want to try reading genres I don't normally read like mystery, horror, historical fiction, ect. I also want to read some literary classics that I've always wanted to read, but never got around to.
I've planned out most of the books for the PS prompts already, but I've still got a few prompts that I haven't found the right book for. I usually don't participate much in these types of groups, but I hope to be a little more active and talk with other books lovers!

This will be my first challenge ever and I look forward to discovering new books, authors and genres thanks to this.
As this is my 1st challenge, I've decided that some books will do for more than 1 prompt. I want to keep my reading time open to not-prompted books later this year.

That's a great idea! I'm nuts because I'm doing 3 different prompted challenges in different groups and 2 regular just number of books finished. I just had major surgery and having a second one in July so I have a year of plenty of time to get it all done.

The challenge is for you to interpret. Many of us tick off more than one prompt if a book fits more than one, especially early in the year. I've read 6 books and ticked off 11 prompts so far. Later in the year, if I'm sure I'll actually read 40 or 50 books I will read a second book that fits a prompt and maybe reach one prompt for each book. I should meet the challenge either way! In any case I will read some books I wouldn't have found otherwise. Judy Johnson, Nambe, New Mexico

I am Siddharth. I am an avid reader, and have recently started a bookstagram account named Kitabi Karwan (@kitabikarwan) (https://www.instagram.com/kitabikarwan/)
The idea is not to review books or analyse them, but simply post thought about the book or what chain of thought the book took me on. I try to pair it up with aesthetically pleasing photographs of the book.
I also post these updates on Goodreads and on my blog at www.thestandingcoin.com

I typically like mystery/thrillers/crime books - my favorite author is Karin Slaughter and I also really like Mark Edwards, Stuart MacBride, Michael Robotham, Mark Billingham. I love British authors. I also like Fantasy series, like the series I am reading and authors like Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, Jim Butcher, RA Salvatore.
I wanted to start the year reading one "classic" and one autobiography/biography per month, but so far I am 0 for 12. Happy to be here and meet everyone! :)
*Currently on book #26, Rise of the King in the Drizzt Do'Urden series by RA Salvatore.

I'm Ellery, a mystery author from North Carolina. One of my goals this year was to try a Popsugar Challenge in hopes of discovering some amazing books that I might not discover on my own.

Ellery! Welcome to the group fellow TBCer :)

I'm Jodi from NJ - I am a single mom of two daughters and I have recently gotten back into reading for pleasure after an extended break (small kids really take up a lot of your time!) I have discovered audiobooks and it's been a game changer - I now listen to 2-3 books per week. I'm a little late starting this but I'm going to go look to see if any of the books I've already read will can fit into any of these prompts!

I love meeting new people, so please feel free to message, reply, chat, or add me as a friend anytime
Happy reading everyone!

I am looking to get back into reading and to better my Japanese reading skills by reading as much as I can in Japanese. As a result, my reading is probably going to consist mostly of Japanese books I check out from the library.
I'm keeping my reading goal at 12 books for the year...for now. I didn't want to pressure myself too much so I kept my numerical goal low.
I wanted to take part in a reading challenge since they seem fun, and I figured that filling out as many of the prompts as I can will be a fun goal. I happened to find this reading challenge when I was searching, and decided to give it a shot!

I had breast cancer 25 years ago and it came back again a few months ago. Popsugar is a real blessing. I’m spending so much time either reading or planning my reading, I have no time left to worry about my health. It’s only Feb. 21, ‘20 and I’m on book #10 already for the challenge.
Good luck to all of you on this fun endeavor.
