Zainab (zainab_i) | 3 comments Hi!! I'm Zainab! I'm 21 years old + from Michigan! I've technically been doing the Popsugar Reading challenge since 2016 + have been a part of this group for a couple years I think, but this year I really want to commit ++ start reading a wider variety of books to find new things that I like! My favorites are romcoms + crazy thrillers that confuse me + freak me out//keep me thinking hours or even days later. I also want to start writing more reviews. I'm about to start my last semester of college so I want to make sure that things I love, like reading, become habits before going into the real world + need some help staying accountable!! But I'm so excited to start + can't wait to read some new things!!!

Brandi | 1 comments Hey everybody!

I’m Brandi and I’m from a small town in Georgia. My love for reading has always been there; however, over the last year I finally found it again after joining an online book club, We Be Book’N. This will be the first year I’ve ever done the Popsugar Reading Challenge and I’m very excited!!

My go to genre used to always be thriller/mystery/suspense, but throughout 2019 I have found that I absolutely LOVE romance! I believe I read more romances than thrillers this year.

Can’t wait to start 2020 off hitting all my reading goals I have for myself.

Dawna Roby | 1 comments Hello everyone. I live in West Virginia. This is my first time doing the Popsugar reading challenge. I like to read almost any type of fiction. My go to is usually romance. I’ve read a few nonfiction books that I have enjoyed just have to find the right ones. I’m a mother of three. I have a 21 year old, one that will be 20 Saturday and a 5 year old (big age difference)! I will be a grandmother this coming year my oldest is due in February with a girl. And I am engaged to an amazing man.

Looking forward to doing this challenge and reading some great books.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Margaret | 1 comments Hey guys I’m Margaret. I’m from New Albany Indiana. Looking forward to the challenge I’ve not really done one of these challenges

message 1855: by Linda (new)

Linda | 1 comments Happy New Year! I'm Linda from Wake Forest, NC. After 30+ years of teaching, I recently retired as a 7th grade language arts arts teacher. For the past 5 years, my job consumed almost all of my time, and most of my reading was YA books. There was little time to savor reading simply for pleasure. One of my New Year's resolutions is to return to reading in my suddenly available free time. I'm now looking forward to returning to the joy of finding that "just right" book then staying up as late as I want because I can't put down the book!

message 1856: by Julia (new)

Julia | 3 comments Happy new year!!!^^ My name is Julia and I'm 18 years old.I'm from Germany. I heard of the Popsugar challenge before but this is my first time participating. I finished my first book today and I'm already looking forward to the next one. Good luck everybody!

message 1858: by Jen (new)

Jen | 1 comments Hello!
My name is Jen and I live just north of Seattle, WA. My favorite books tend be sci-fi or auto-biographies, but I also read a lot of non-fiction related to adult learning theory and professional development. I'm joining the 2020 challenge to expand my literary horizons. I really look forward to hearing about your great discoveries this year.

Freya Hope Greenwood (freyhope) | 1 comments hey! i'm freya, from exeter in the uk. i'm a student and not an avid reader - i struggle to read fiction because i don't know what i like, and how can i get recommendations if i don't know what i like! so i decided 2020 would be the end of that, so here i am. looking forward to trying some new stuff!

message 1868: by Mary-carol (new)

Mary-carol | 2 comments Happy New Year to all of you and your families. I'm Mary-Carol and I live in Las Vegas, NV with my hubby of almost 20 years and my numerous feline fur babies. I work part-time as a receptionist at an animal hospital and when not working I read, quilt, do needlework and play computer games. I found I'm spending way too much time one the computer games so I'm hoping that this group and several others will steer me towards that goal. Now having said that I did read around 140 books last year (I keep an author alphabetized list). My favorite genres are romance, historical romance/fiction, mysteries and fantasy.
This is the first time I've done this challenge and I look forward to what to everyone is reading and suggestions. :)

message 1869: by Becky (new)

Becky Pritchett (beckylpritchett0621) Hi everyone! My name is Becky and I am originally from New Orleans, currently living in Hattiesburg, MS. This is my first year doing reading challenges. I am hoping it will help me weed through my giant TBR pile. I tend to read YA, fantasy, and fiction, but want to broaden my horizons a little this year.

message 1870: by W.J. (new)

W.J. Cintron | 7 comments Hey Everyone!!
My name is Wineska, they call me Winnie. I LOVE to read, write: novels/screenplays, and anything that has to do with the arts, like filmmaking, drawing, crafts, etc. That being said, I don't get along with Math. lol
Looking forward to reading a LOT of great books this year, since last year I was more focused on writing and couldn't read as much as I wanted to.
Nice to meet you all and happy readings and a wonderful new year 2020!!!

message 1871: by Steph (new)

Steph (steph_renna) | 1 comments Hi everyone! I’m Steph and this is my second PS reading challenge! Last year I finished the challenge and read two additional books, which is 49 more than I read in 2018! I’m currently in my 5th year of grad school for a PhD in genetics and cancer biology, and I haven’t really prioritized reading for pleasure since sometime in college. I’m super grateful to have found out about this challenge a little over a year ago so I could rediscover my love of reading!

I’m a big fan of fantasy, both YA and adult. I’m rereading the Hunger Games series currently and next I’ll be delving into Voyager (Outlander #3). I’m really excited to be here and to be doing this challenge again!

message 1872: by Jess (new)

Jess (midgetthemighty) | 1 comments Hello, I’m Jess and I live in Indiana. I’m originally from Kentucky but we can get to Kentucky in 10 minutes. I’m an RTI Instructional Assistant in an Elementary school and I absolutely love it. I’ve been married since June 2012 and we have a little boy named Robert (July 2015). Being his mom is the greatest thing ever in this world. I have never tried this challenge before but I thought it would be a good way to diversify my reading some. I mainly read sci fi and thriller type books.

message 1873: by Chelsi (new)

Chelsi Randle | 1 comments Hi everyone! My name is Chelsi and I live in rural Kansas. I am in my first year as an ELA teacher in a middle school, so most of the books I read tend to be YA. I am a wife and mom of a 13-year-old boy. Our lives are crazy, but I'm hoping that this challenge and joining the group will keep me on track with my reading goals this year. Plus, I get asked for book recs all the time by students, coworkers, and friends, so I want to expand my book knowledge.

Maya (maya_the_voice) Hi, I'm Maya, I'm from Virginia, currently in Austin TX. My first PopSugar challenge was 2019, and I had so much fun with the prompts. It was the first time in a while that I rediscovered the joy of reading that I had as a teen (as an English major, I had to read copious amounts for grades over interest). I got pretty close to finishing the challenge last year, I'm ready to give it a go for 2020! I hope you all have a great time this year, looking forward to the weekly check-ins!
