Now I’m ready to dip my toe in the PopSugar community.
I completed 2017 PopSugar. and skipped 2018. I’m really looking forward to those weekly posts helping to keep me on track.
All that said...I still always feel like a big Newbie and am afraid of doing something wrong...if I do please gently assist me.
Looking forward to reading with all of you.

Hi Laure! It's my first attempt as well. Hope to see your list soon.

This is my first year doing a reading challenge and I'm pretty excited about it. I like the idea of trying to find new and different things to read while also keeping track of what I've actually read in a year. Between working full time and having a family, I'm not sure I'll make it through the 40 books, but I'm gonna give it a good try.
It's good to meet you all!

I find that doing these challenges has really helped me read more and differently, and resist the constant lure of Netflix! Doing a few other challenges along with this one and hoping to get even more reading done this year.

I love fantasy, young adult, dystopian, historical fiction, and feminist theory.

I'm really excited about this challenge because it will definitely stretch me to read books that I otherwise wouldn't have. I'm planning on starting my first book for the challenge tonight!

My name is Sandy and I am from Chicago. I wanted to challenge myself this year, I have been stuck in a reading rut.

And going through the discussion post And reading all the encouraging comments by others is really helpful.
This is going to be fun. Happy reading people !

My name is Michaele; I live in Northern California. I've been participating in the PopSugar challenge since 2016, though for the past two years I've been chopping and channeling it enough to call it the Anne Elk reading challenge. (Because it is "mine and belongs to me").
I'm with you, Amanda -- enough heedless scrolling through social media. Back to whole stories again!
As to being on my phone -- that's where I do a lot of my book-reading. Old-lady eyes, you know. Even when I read paper books i have to photograph the pages so I can zoom the text.

:)

Some points are quite tricky so i hope with your help i will find some interesting books to fulfill them :D

Hello! I'm Kristina and I live in British Columbia, Canada. I was an avid reader in my pre-university days, but it's been a few years since I've graduated and I still haven't gotten fully back into it. I've never done a reading challenge before and am stoked to start this one...I just finished my first book actually! :)

Ha!! Any fan of Monty Python who brings out something that obscure without explanation is a friend of mine! Welcome!

I'm in my 20's, from the UK, Essex! I'm so excited to take part in this as I've never done this challenege before. I filmed pt 1 for the tbr today and will share when its up, if anyone is interested but I'm stuck for ideas, so I'd love it if anyone would throw any suggestions my way!

Excited to see how much I actually get done and how far my reading taste expands!

I found this list because I wanted to spice up my Goodreads reading challenge for this year. I have only set myself a goal to read 35 books, but I would love to be able to get through the full 40 on this list. I don't think I'm going to tackle the advanced list this year.
I joined this group because there are so many great recommendations for categories on the list that I was having trouble thinking of books for. I look forward to discussion and Happy Reading, everybody!!
