Glad you made it Lis! :D Just a heads up, most of the discussion happens in weekly check-ins or monthly reads sections of the forums! :)

Hi Kirsten,
Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine is my 2018 favorite! Such a great one, and I loved the vocabulary in it.

I've read a lot of great books this year but my favorites so far are
Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
and
Almost Famous Women: Stories
and
Zeroville

Good luck Melody!!

I’m a self proclaimed book nerd - my husband has said he’s said things to me and I haven’t even registered when I’m buried in a book :D I love reading and a friend introduced me to the PopSugar Reading Challenge in 2018. Two weeks ago I finished my challenge and am on my 58th book of the year !
I live in British Columbia, Canada, and recently stepped away from my career as a pharmacist to be a stay at home and look after my two boys - aged 5 and 9.
I have one more year before my youngest is in school full time and I want to enjoy them while they are cute and young :) In addition to being , quitting work has allowed me to pick up one of my favourite hobbies that sadly took a backseat in my working mommy years .
I love reading and am always looking for a new place to travel to, new characters to become friends with or cheer for a hero .
In addition , I love hiking , biking, skiing , exploring the great outdoors , baking, and spending time with my 3 dogs, 2 degus, hamster and fish . It’s a full house in our house- but I wouldn’t trade the crazy, chaotic, fun and happy atmosphere for anything :D

Other than reading I like hiking and photography and spending time with my boyfriend and our two dogs.
Looking forward to getting started in 2019!

I also stumbled across this in a Facebook book group and am super excited to join in. I live in Outback Australia and work at a dinosaur museum. I can't wait to start ticking books off the list and talking to everyone here.

Reading is my passion! I have seen this challenge around a few times, but I've always got so many of my own challenges going on, I haven't participated. But this is the year to try it I think! So excited!

I'm Sarah from Copenhagen, Denmark. I've been in a reading slump for a very long time, not being able to fokus on reading. This year I've read more books than I have In years and I love it. I first stumbled upon the popsugar reading challenge earlier this year and was intrigued by it. Therfore, I've decided to join in on the 2019 challenge and I can't wait.

If you really want to engage with your fellow readers I suggest you start posting in the individual discussion threads for the 2019 prompts. Also, we have a weekly check-in thread every Thursday where you can post what you've been reading over the last week!
Again, welcome to the group!

I'm not going to be doing the challenge in the traditional way, I've found the lists for all the years recently, and what I've done is used the prompts from all the years to create one long list for three reasons: to get myself back into reading (I don't read anywhere near as much since I've started uni), to make myself read the new books I own rather than just rereading my favourites, and to expand my horizons from what I usually read! I know that's not exactly the focus of this group, but I was thinking it would be good to share inspiration for some of the prompts!

I'm Melanie. I'm a single mom (by choice) of a wonderful 8 year old boy. I'm on track to read about 100 books in 2018 and always looking for a new challenge. I'm hoping 2019 will be another great year of reading.

If you really want to engage with your fellow readers I suggest you start posting in the i..."
Hello to all the new members! I wanted to second Sara's suggestions here. I particularly enjoy the weekly check-in thread and would love to see you all there! You don't need to only check in with Challenge books but any book that you read in the past week. Those of us who already finished last years challenge are still checking in there. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...
And since I have never formally commented in this thread, I suppose I should also say hello! I'm Brittany and this will be my second year doing the challenge. This year I think I'm going to tackle popsugar and the ATY challenge. Really looking forward to starting again!

Welcome May! I stopped reading and then started Goodreads and Book challenges under very similar circumstances. I'm glad you're feeling better because that is so hard. Reading has been a great distraction for me and I've found so many great people and genres and books here. Enjoy your challenge and the group 😊

I don't think I ever actually introduced myself here, actually. I'm from Scotland, work for the health service and have three sons. I discovered PS in the 2017 challenge (which I didn't complete), but only found this group when the 2018 list was released. I just finished the challenge yesterday. My passion for reading has been reignited by it, and by joining in with this group. This year I'm doing the challenge again, but also trying to do a couple of other ones too...be warned, this stuff is addictive!
