Hi Lulu, I've never done this challenge either - what do you plan on reading for the local author prompt? :)

I'm new to Popsugar, and curious to see if I manage to finish this challenge. This will be my third book challenge ever. My very first challenge was to read only women for an entire year, which made me aware of the disproportionate amount of male authors for certain non-fiction categories. I joined my second book challenge this year here on Goodreads, it had 20 categories and I enjoyed it.
I'm excited to see what you all will be reading and I have a feeling that my to read list will grow tremendously :)

Lynn, this is my first year doing the Popsugar challenge. I am SO excited. Welcome!

That’s where I’m originally from too. Bolton, On

Hey, that's pretty close to me I'm in Baxter, ON!
Do you know of any local authors? Challenge # 20

I'm Stéphanie from France and 2018 will be my 1st Popsugar reading challenge!
50 books (or even 40) is quite a huge goal for me but I'll try my best:)

I'm Linda from Milwaukee! Looking forward to doing this challenge. I'm also in a Facebook group about it, if anyone is interested.

So, this is the first time I am attempting this challenge and I'm really looking forward to expanding my horizons.

Look forward to seeing what books everyone chooses.

I'm a newly retired French professor looking for some inspiration on how to share some of my time. I found this group and am happily on my way for my first ever reading challenge. Wishing everyone good luck!

My name's Maia! I'm originally from MD, but I currently go to grad school in San Diego, CA. I'm extremely pumped for this challenge, and I cannot wait to participate with all of you!

I'm definitely going to be using books for this and the 2018 Beat the Backlist Challenge. I'm curious to know what the 2018 Libby Challenge is (Not that I "need" to add more books to my reading list for 2018.)

Here's to 2018!!

I used to be an avid reader and hope this challenge gets me back to reading more this year. My favorite genre is historical fiction and my favorite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. Although A Man Called Ove is a close second.
I belong to a book club that has expanded my readings the past two years and I look forward to this challenge - I hope to complete the 40 list.
