Really excited for all of them!!! I guess I need to read about worse situations??

I will admit that I mostly read Jacob Have I Loved while under 18 but I did read it repeatedly!

I hope that you and your family are healthy, safe and taking advantage of more time to read!

From your old books I went with See Jane Date by Melissa Senate , and from the new books I chose 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston . As for the extra pick, I thought Official Book Club Selection A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin by Kathy Griffin was hilarious, so maybe you will too. ^_^

Thanks for the picks. The Atlantis book was one of random Dollar Tree finds, so that should be interesting. I'm pretty sure Wickedly Charming is one of my absolute dustiest books, so it really needs to be read before the dust claims it as their own. As for The Flatshare, I put in a reserve for the ebook from my library, so only time will tell if I can get before the end of next month. Either way I wanna read it, though, cuz I love me a good romcom.

I listened to Undercover Bromance (Bromance Book Club, #2) by Lyssa Kay Adams (4-stars) and just borrowed The Guy on the Right (The Underdogs, #1) by Kate Stewart from the library (and kindle unlimited)

I also listened to Always by Kindle Alexander which I recommended to Ashly.

Danielle, I enjoyed Phoenix Unbound. It was a bit of a rough start but I enjoyed the character development and want to read the second one later this year. (Even though, the author got wrong how you milk a mare. Authors often need to work on the agriculture research even in Fantasy).

Barn 8, however, was a mess. The science, especially the agriculture, was just too wrong for me to overlook and it was very preachy.

message 82: by VampAmber (new)

VampAmber | 622 comments I completely forgot to mention, but I finished my first pick, Wickedly Charming (Fates #7) by Kristine Grayson , about two weeks ago. I liked it, but it had almost nothing in common with the series I thought it was a part off. Maybe it was a spin-off reboot thing? Well, I still liked it, at least. ^_^ And my ebook of The Flatshare by Beth O'Leary came in, and I'm a few chapters in. Pretty good so far, but the way the male main character narrates got old fast, so I'm not really seeing more than four stars, tops. Super cute story, though.

It would totally be five stars all the way if they either got rid of or rewrote his chapters, cuz that's the only thing I hate so far. >_<
