A Cat Named Potato Annie, Part of a Children’s Novel

I’m looking for a children’s book that I probably read 30 to 50 years ago. Possibly a Laura Ingalls Wilder book, but I’m not sure.

The book is a novel. This is just one episode in the novel. It talks about a cat named Potato Annie. I think the cat is named that because of stealing potatoes. That’s all I remember.

I tried searching Google for “Potato Annie Cat” and found nothing useful.

"Potato Annie" was an antagonist in The Secret of Skull Mountain (Hardy Boys), but she wasn't a cat in that book.
