What kind of reality show was it? Was it some sort of competition, like The Bachelor? Or was it just following the lives of the girls / women in it, like Jersey Shore?
L.A Candy by Lauren Conrad? I haven't read the book in a while so not sure if the details are precise, but reminds me of that book

Sugar and Spice by Lauren Conrad. It's the last book in a series so I would suggest that anyone looking to read it, reads the prior two books first.

The book is about some girls who are part of a reality tv series. One of them finds a diary which shows that the next few episodes were actually planned. She decides to flop those plans. An example of how she does this is: one of the pages in the diary says that this girl willbe told a different arrival time than the rest, so that she unintentionally reaches late and causes drama. Since the girl has read this page, she makes sure to come early and flop their plans. In the reality show, she works as something like an event manager (cant really remember, but I'm pretty sure she planned events in the reality tv show).
Another one of the girls gets accepted into a different university from the one in which she is going, because for a reason that I cant remember, she wanted to switch universities. She has a boyfriend. Her name starts with s. She lives with the girl talked about in the previous paragraph. Not really sure if this girl was in the reality show.
The book was set in the United States.
I read it between 2015 to 2018.
