Probably written 1950s to 1960s. Book starts with a scientist trying to find a subject who can enter a room where there is a glowing energy cube or box, and look inside it. The first few men that look go insane. Finally the scientist finds a "highly adaptable" girl who can go in and look without going mad. She does look, and somehow discovers how to teleport. It was something like "turn the angle that can't be seen" or "turn the corner no one can see". As I recall, some aliens maybe in another dimension helped her teleport to different places and opened the door for others to teleport.

Might have had “door” or “curtain” in the title but every time I search “Door into Summer” and similar pop up. It apparently wasn’t a Heinlein or Clark or Bradbury. Someone more obscure.
