When I was little my mom had a bunch of books in a non sequential series (not following one after another). They have a mouse on the front and he explains how different things work. I remember one book explained clouds and their different types. Maybe even the water to rain process. I'm starting to collect things to use in teaching my daughter and this series is a great resource. I think the series might be called something like A what is it book. but when I search that nothing comes up. Thanks :)

There is a series of books on Amazon called Mouse Counts and Mouse Paints and perhaps more by Ellen Stoll Walsh.Ellen Stoll Walsh
Those aren't the ones but good idea for another route. The ones I'm looking for are significantly more advanced.
You got me thinking about Kevin Henkes's "Chrysanthemum", but i don't know if the main thing in that book is learning, i think it's more about the name.
