Questions/Problems in Completed Tasks

Task 5.2 is a page number task. Please review Rule 7 how to determine page numbers if you read an ebook, listen to an audiobook or read a Large Print edition.
The paperback edition of Infernal (there is no mass market edition) has 366 pages and will not work for this task.

Task 15.2, book 2 requires a book written by a single author. Lazarus, Vol. 1: Family has 8 people identified as authors (or that have a default blank in the author role field). If these people are something other than authors, you'll need to provide references to a GRs librarian so they can research roles and change the GRs record (you can find the librarian thread in the General Help folder).

Task 5.5 requires a book with a title of at least 3 words where the first letter of each word is found in THE ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME. The first letter of each word in A Heart So Fierce and Broken are AHSFAB.

Task 25.2 requires books to total at least 548 pages. The 2 books you've claimed add up to 500 pages.

Fortunately I am a librarian and could make the edits myself. Someone had confused Lazarus, Vol. 1: Family with Lazarus: Sourcebook Collection Vol. 1. Reposted.

Task 15.2, book 2 requires that you state which list and which page the book can be found on when you post. Please repost this task with the required info."
Shoot - somehow I must have screwed that up when I did the copy/paste edit.
Yep. Lost the linked quotation mark. Sorry. Fixed and reposted!

Task 20.6, option 2 is a page number task. ebooks without a print edition cannot be used for tasks requiring a specific number of pages.
If you choose to use this book for another task, you must have it approved for length in the Ebook page verification thread in General Help.
Your post must include the line number of the approval in the ebook spreadsheet or a link/post number of the post in which the ebook was approved for length.

Task 5.7 -- I do not see Requiem for a Dream on p. 4 of the There Ought to be a Band Listopia. Is it on a different page? If so, please repost with the correct page number.

Sorry, since the task called for an Eoin Colfer book I didn't even look. Reposted.

Task 15.3 uses the author's name. From the FAQs: 9. What if a book has multiple authors in a task involving author names or initials?
The general default rule is that books by a single author must be used.

Whoops. Missed that one. Thanks, Ritika! I've added your Golden Oldie ticket to the spreadsheet. Your corrected total will show up in the next update.

Thanks!

The Rule of One will not work for task 15.7. Initial letters must ONLY ascend or descend. TROO does not only descend. IOW, titles that have words that begin with the same letter will not work.
ETA - it does work for 5.5 where you claimed it in post 1680.

Task 15.5 requires a book written by a single author. Two Brains, One Aim has 2 authors.

Thanks Kristina. I realized this after I posted but since we're not supposed to delete any posts I just waited for you to tell me :)

Task 5.8 - How to Fracture a Fairy Tale appears to be an ebook without a print edition. You must have it approved for length in Ebook page verification in General Help.
Your post must include the line number of the approval in the ebook spreadsheet or a link/post number of the post in which the ebook was approved for length.

You can always go back and edit the post to say never mind or strike it out. We just don't want people deleting the entire post using the "delete" button in "reply | edit | delete | flag *" since that changes the order of the post numbers. Going back to make a note that a book doesn't work though helps the moderators go faster since we'll know we can skip going through the verification process and making a problem post here.

Jammin Jenny - This looks like it might be the same book as How to Fracture a Fairy Tale: 2. So perhaps you could ask a librarian see if they can be combined. (On GR the paper version has "2" but the Amazon link from each goes to the same book and I don't see "2" on the cover.)
I read the paper version last year, so I knew it existed.

You've already claimed task 15.4 on Mar 26, 2020 07:01PM, post 846."

I have combined both editions. Jammin Jenny, you can repost.

You've already claimed task 5.9 on Apr 12, 2020 02:02PM (post 1430)

I'm confused. Which book did you read for task 20.9? Your original post (1009) said: "I read "Dragonsong" by Anne McCaffrey and gave it 5 stars. I read "Acorna the Unicorn Girl " by Anne McCaffrey."
This one says: "I read Dragondrumsby Anne McCaffrey. I reread Acorna: The Unicorn Girlby Anne McCaffrey"
Acorna: The Unicorn Girl will not work for 20.9 because it is written by multiple authors.

You've already claimed the book The Rule of One for 5.5 (see above post). Are you trying to move a book? If so, you need to make that clear in your post.
So, for example, if you want to use a different book for task 5.5, you'd put the following statement at the beginning of your post for task 5.5: "I am removing The Rule of One from this task and replacing it with:" Then, you would format your post for task 5.5 just as if it were brand new.
Then, when posting task 30.2, you'd place at the top of your post something like: "The Rule of One has been removed from task 5.5 and moved to this task."

PLEASE review the Posting Requirements linked in post 1 of this thread -- 16. Include an up to date total of points in your post.
